I like video games because they entertainment and keep my mind occupied for a while. I also like video games because so games allow me to vent when I'm mad(that would be 1st person shooter games). Overall I like Video games because they allow me to escape from the real world for a while.

supernerd117 : Well the first video game I ever played was Super Mario World for the SNES. My sister was playing it, remember those TV with huge backs and a 20 inch screens? I barely do and only really remember what they look like because that's what I played my first video game on. Now don't really like platformers but there good for a change of pace every now and then, instead of me hailing my enemies with bullets. I play because I like how each game is different but there's similarity's in almost all of them. Take Mario Kart and Dakar, the ultimate goal in both games is to finish the race and every race on after that. I play strategy  and puzzle games rarely but when I play strategy games I like to go with Bloons TD 5 and see if my tower plan can let me get past wave 120. Shooting games? Who doesn't like to massacre AI's when there ticked off. Now there's just rhythm games left I think. I really haven't played that many except Guitar Hero and Sound Shapes, both musical and both frustrating when you cant get the rhythm of the lvl or song your on. I play games because there just fun.

I like video games because they are fun and when I'm angry I can relax killing the enemies

Simply because they are enjoyable. If you are every bored and no one wants to do anything but you, you can just play video games and have a blast. Games are fun, and video games are games.
