so lately since it started getting hot and raining lots all these bugs have been coming in my house and it's driving me insane. earwigs, spiders, beetles, weird flying bugs, spiders. there's so many I hate it and I sleep on the floor so of course I've been getting even less sleep then the no sleep I get either way and I just hate bugs so much, I've figured out that dishsoap and water kill the earwigs I guess it's like acid to them and yeah,I miss winter when there were no bugs, anyone have any ways to get rid of bugs? I can't stand these bugs much longer. Dx

I killed so many bugs in my lifetime. Here is an answer to a stupid question, What is an insect? well it's - An insect is an animal that has three main body parts, two compound eyes, two antennae, and six jointed legs. Instead of bones, insects have hard exoskeletons, which protect their soft bodies like a coat of armor! Insects' three body parts are a head, a thorax, and an abdomen. Most insects have one pair of wings, but some have two pairs (four wings total). Their legs and wings are all attached to the middle body segment - the thorax. Insects breathe through tiny holes along the sides of their bodies called spiracles.
Insects are a very diverse group of animals. There are more than 1 million species of insects that have already been discovered, and probably at least that many more that have not yet been discovered and identified! Most insects hatch from eggs and go through several different stages of life, called metamorphosis. Ladybugs and butterflies experience complete metamorphosis. Some insects, such as praying mantises, hatch looking like tiny versions of their parents. They will grow by molting, or shedding their exoskeleton several times, growing into a new slightly larger one each time. Once the insect is an adult, it will not grow or molt anymore.
Caterpillars are insects, but they look a little different than most insects. As you may already know, a caterpillar will soon spin a chrysalis or cocoon around itself and turn into a butterfly or moth! Caterpillars only have six real legs, but they also have some other pairs of legs called "prolegs." It also looks like they have more than three body parts. It turns out that they have 14 body segments, but the head is one, then there are three segments of the thorax, and ten segments of the abdomen. So they also have three main body parts, but the thorax and abdomen are separated into smaller segments.

crazycatpup : My room used to be really bad with ants, a few roaches, and some other random bugs. I got some ant and roach spray, and sprayed it around the entire edge of my room, common area, bathroom, closet, and kitchen, and I haven't had any issues since. Try some spray.

And you mentioned spiders twice. And huge run-on sentence. Not like you to post something that seems like it was in rush. XD You must be competing for the Tour de Vizzed...

crazycatpup : Just go to Wal-Mart. They are usually Pet Safe. Just look on the back of the thing. There should be a disclaimer saying that it's not pet safe. If you do not see a disclaimer, then you are good to go.

Yee things come to mind. Raid bug spray, but though it may be ineffective for a few bugs. Also, try to put some chlorine with baking soda. Just don't put too much chlorine or bleach in it, becomes hazardous.

sprays wont stop more coming so I cant see much benefit there. you can get scented stuff that supposedly keeps them away but I
dont know how effective they are.
besides buying a hamock I dont think much can be done.

Fandragon100 :
thank you for that pointless post.
thank you even more, for copying it from another site

crazycatpup : I got some bug eating plants, sprays, and sometimes my dog eats the ants, and I kill them with regular methods, like squashing, trapping and stuff, I find this weird worm looking things in my room and I kill it with a tissue. But you can go buy some bug eating plants and it might help a bit.

I have these weird looking slugs that are always in my shower. They are anywhere from 1/8 of an inch to 1/4 but they freak me out.

The only way I can think of to keep the bugs away is to spray bug-spray all around the outside and inside of the house. That usually works for me.

I hate bugs too, and to be honest, I really don't think anyone likes bugs, especially in this time of the year when they are most active in the summer. Those little pincer bugs always show up in my house somewhere and I hate them. I always see a little spider crawling and they are everywhere. I am just going to buy some spray and hopefully that will take care of things and get rid of this bug problem. But I understand, this is the year for all bugs, ants and nasty stuff to show up. The other day I was mowing the back lawn because it was getting gnarly looking and I went to the back corner and I saw a freakin snake, I took off immediately, it was kind of long and it slithered off.

I can't really blame it though, my backyard is like a jungle, it is so dense!

I know what could help you. You could try using some spray or buying moth balls. Those are useful in containing the smell driving things away. The thing is you have to try to keep your closed concealed well unless you want you cloths smelling like moth balls. That is just a fair warning. I used to have those type of things in my house as well due to my mom cooking so much, and we lived on a dead end street, and we had like 1 next door neighbor. It was a house across us that drove those things there. That is where they can from. So some advice to you use moth bolls or spray at the most.

Don't worry, I'm a guy who hates bugs too. I don't exactly have a phobia of them, though I was scared to death of them around 5 years ago. I guess you can say I man'd up and killed them off.

I sympathize with you. I did learn one thing from my mom when a hornet got in our house. Spray it with Windex. The Windex sticks to its wings and weighs it down to a point where it can't even fly. It's a bit sad to watch it die in a puddle of Windex on the ground, but better than getting stung.

Oh man. I went on a 4 day camping trip out on the lakes. We carried our canoe and everything we needed to live out there. We had to portage on the trails between lakes. During that time we were DEVOURED! By mosquitos. It sucked.

If you can not kill them, call a exterminator to kill em' all. It is very easy to kill them, they are small. We are big compared to them. So yeah, you should not have a problem with this yourself.

To say I hate bugs would not completely be true. Some bugs I can live without but others are not that bad. In fact in some parts of Asia bugs are eaten as a delicacy and bugs are also very high in nutrients.
