Now, time for a change of pace when it comes to my game reviews... this is "Rampage 2: Universal Tour". Now, naturally... I would have done the review for the very first "Rampage" for SNES/NES, but after playing it... it was completely way off from what I remember playing for the PSX/PS1/Playstation (They're all the same system, just so you know...)

This game is best played with a friend on the same screen as you, as the game does not split-screen and makes it easier to play with a 2nd person at your side. Heck, if you get a multi-tap (this allows you to connect up to 4 players all at once)... then you can have an army of monsters stomping and destroying the Earth, and even the Universe itself. Whether you are stomping aliens on the Moon, or stomping the Japanese like what Godzilla would do... the world is your oyster, and its time to devour!

Graphics- 7/10
Many Playstation games often had basic designs and artwork for their games, even the games themselves were often a little too... "basic". But nonetheless, this really really does emphasize the fact that you are as big as Godzilla and it's your turn to kill the human race, or the race of anything smaller than you (even kill each other if you want to). Whether you want to be a giant crab like monster, a giant rat, a monkey, a crocodile/alligator or anything else they offer for you to use... the objective is to DESTROY everything that you possibly can. With the small pixilated works of tiny humans falling out of buildings, aliens falling from their ships, or cars flying across the screen and exploding... there is so much to see and so much to do.

Sound- 7/10
Along with the graphics, the sound isn't fully perfected yet in this game... but even so, this game has so much to offer. If you're somewhat of a twisted person like I am, playing games like these really brings out the demented and psychotic personality lurking inside us all. Its a pretty good game to play if you have the urge to just kill off the human race without a care in the world, there are even cheats and codes to use in order to make it so that the game is so easy... all you have to do is walk around and destroy everything you possibly can. With the sounds of cars exploding, buildings crumbling, alien ships zapping you, police sirens blaring, and pretty much every part of everyday life sounds being active in this game... you get to experience what it would be like to bring the human race to EXTINCTION!

Addictiveness- 8/10
Whether by yourself or even with a friend (or three), there is just so much to do... that you may even spend weeks upon weeks of playing this. Adding onto the fact that you can have up to either 3 or 4 players all on at a time (when using a Multi-Tap), there are so many levels of difficulty, so many places to destroy, so many unique locations and even hidden locations as well as hidden characters to use. Personally, I always go with playing as "Ralph" (The Wolf)... and I use my special howling technique to send buildings crumbling all over the place. You can spend up to 10 minutes on one level just trying to kill EVERYTHING possible, and you may even attempt to see who can eat the most humans or who can destroy the most vehicles. With so many different contests you can come up with for this game, the options aren't really all that limited anymore.

Story- 5/10
Much like 99.9% of all games I play, I honestly don't pay much attention to the storyline... but this one I actually did kind of "glance" upon. From what I can figure is that you are a genetic experimentation of a regular human being somehow being turned into one of these giant beasts, and well... you go on a rampage in order to destroy everything before this can happen to anyone else. Whatever the story may be, the concept is simple... KILL EVERYONE!

Depth- 8/10
This game actually doesn't require much effort to play, all the controls are really simple... but, once you get with a friend or two... then things heat up and all hell breaks lose. With multiple players running around and destroying everything in their path, it's nothing but a smorgasbord of a DESTRUCTION! Everything you do will cause damage to the cities and places you visit, so be sure to completely wipe out everything in your way and just have fun being one of the best monsters just like the legendary Godzilla!

Difficulty- 1/10
To be honest with you all, this game is nowhere near difficult... with all the things you can eat for health, and all the upgrades you can get easily... as well as the special attacks you can do, this game is pretty much designed for multiplayer at its finest. The only way you will actually fail in this game is by doing nothing at all, if you are constantly destroying everything, eating everyone, and pretty much just being an all around bad***... then there is nothing to hold you down. This game is fun for all ages, whether you're a kid who is 10 years old or even an adult who is 60 years old... if you like the idea of being a giant monster (mostly some kind of giant animal) and you want to be the next Godzilla in the city... then go ahead and let your destructive rage burn out in this game.

Overall, this game is a 9/10... simply because one player mode is kind of dull when you have nobody to laugh with in a psychotic and demented manner.
