I always played as Bowser, I live being able to knock into people on the track with the force of a great typhoon.
Plus Bowser is really cool, and in Double Dash he gets a giant she'll to throw around, it was amazing, that's my favorite Mario Kart.

For me would be baby daisy. She is so cool to play as but on the wii I had to find a way to unlock her. And when I did I started to use her a lot. I've claimed her as my own so no one can touch her. XD

One of my favorite characters from Mario Kart is Metal Mario, he is such an unique addition to the roster, in my opinion. I've been using Metal Mario ever since he joined Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS. One of my characters that were my favorite were Mario and Yoshi. They're technically partners in older games and I've always enjoyed that about them. 

And there we have it. Why I like Metal Mario, Mario and Yoshi in the MArio Kart series.

I have a different favorite character for the Wii and for the DS. For the Wii, my favorite has to be Dry Bones. I played with him at my friends house and thought he was super cool, and was really happy when I unlocked him on my own Wii. I love that Dry Bones can use the Bullet Bike, since that's one of my favorite vehicles in the game.

For the DS, I'd say Luigi. The other characters, frankly, were not good, or I liked Luigi better. Luigi's Poltergeist and the other Kart that I can't remember the name of were both pretty good.

Generally it's a 3 way split for me between Luigi, King Boo, and Koopa troopa/Dry bones.


All 3 are really awesome and competitive. And in mario kart double dash, they're really unique with their own upgrades

It has to be a tie between Yoshi,  Roselia and King Boo

I normally play as Yoshi since it is my favorite mario character over all. Boo has a bike that I am most used to and Roselia is my favorite princess of the three (I believe there are three)

I like leading with Yoshi. He accelerates, he's fast, he handles well, and he is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I like the green, I like how he looks in the cars and I think he's a superior character. Other people go with Peach or Mario or Kooopa Troopa so the people I play with leave me Yoshi all the time.

I don't have a lot of experience with any Mario Kart game besides 64. I used Toad for the longest tie, but found him to be too light. For most racing games, I like a mostly balanced character/vehicle that handles well but may sacrifice a little maneuverability , top speed or acceleration for some extra weight. You're either the guy being pushed around or the one pushing. It's also not that hard to get used to taking advantage of the extra weight for stuff like sliding, so as long as you really learn how to play, the pay off is a lot nicer in the end.

EDIT: I managed to type up a 107 word post on what my favorite Mario Kart character was without actually naming it. GG, dummy.
