First for me was Sailor Moon. I was almost 13 years old at the time when I saw it. At the time though, I knew nothing at all about anime. I just thought of it as a cartoon show. My sister showed it to me and I fell in love with the show right away. I even used to pretend I was Sailor Moon, then, lol. So, if it weren't for Sailor Moon, I'd know nothing at all about anime and probably wouldn't even be an anime fan today.

I've seen Naruto fairly early into my anime career and quit at about episode 30. It has good art and animation, but the plot is far too long for me to be patient with and I'm not really into those shows where all people do is beat each other up. Must explain why I also don't like Dragon Ball series.

First anime was definitely Pokémon. To be honest, it was one of the few anime they showed on British terrestrial tv (stuff like Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon etc were on Toonami which we never received as a child).

Like lots of people I watched pokemon first, though it was Advanced Battle and only managed to watch it because it was coloured brightly.
