I vote for dialga. because dialga has a move that is vary strong, roar of time. it can kill palkia in one to two hits.

i choose dialga mainly cause i always liked how he looks but some what because of his power

if this was about September last year i would've said dialga bcus i thought palkia was stupid bcus he is pink, but i got over the color and looked at his general looks and moves so my vote is for palkia.

in my opinion i think palkia is better but really i think they were ment to be the same same with lugia and ho -oh or mewtwo and mew i think legends were all ment to be the same

I prefer Dialga, but I think that Palkia is better in competitive play.
However, Dialga resists most of Palkia's moves, making it harder for Palkia to kill it.

Palkia's type setup is Water/Dragon. It is one of two Pokémon of this particular match up, the other being Kingdra from Generation II.

Palkia can learn many Water-, Ice- and Dragon-type moves. Also, it can learn a large variety of moves of many different types, much like many other Legendary Pokémon. These moves are rather uncommon, unlike Ice-type attacks. Additionally, due to its Water-type, Palkia is not weak to Ice-type attacks as are pure Dragon-types. In fact, Palkia's only weakness is Dragon.

Dialga is one of the legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Its Steel- and Dragon-type combination makes it vulnerable only to Fighting- and Ground- type moves. Dialga has many more Resistances, including immunity to Poison. This type combination is a first in the Pokémon world.

Dialga is only obtainable in Diamond, in the same way that Palkia is only obtainable in Pearl. For "Pearl" players, however, after fighting/catching Palkia, the elder in Celestic Town will show you a picture of Dialga in a book, thus adding it to your Pokédex. This is vice versa in "Diamond", where the elder will show you a picture of Palkia. Dialga has slightly higher base HP and Defense than Palkia, while Palkia has slightly higher base Special Defence and Speed. It can be encountered and captured at Level 47 after defeating the leader of Team Galactic on top of Mt. Coronet. It has a signature move called Roar of Time, which is similar to Hyper Beam but Dragon-typed.

I personnally am getting Dialga because:

1. he looks cooler.
2. He is dragon and dragon is palkia weakness.
3. It is vulnerable to ground/fighting, palkia is none of these.

Dialga is my favorite he is pretty awesome in the way he was designed and his moves are really good in my opinion.

i am the atack kind of pokemon. im also a water type. i think palkia is way better!

Dialga is better. I. It can learn stronger moves but Palkia is a Water/Dragon look at those stats

Dialga, because it looks cooler in my opinion, Roar of Time seems like a cooler and more effective move than Special Rend, and to me, time is a cooler than space, in my opinion.
