Hey guys. I'm a big fan of anime and wanna see if there's others out there. I'd like to hear what your favorite anime are and some suggestions. Be sure to leave a description about the anime can't wait to see what you fellow vizzed board members suggest.

High School of the Dead ( Just started watching 2nd season)
Eureka 7 (1 Season "52 episodes"+ OVA+Movie)( 2nd season I don't think has anything to do with the 1st and movie is set in a different dimension)
Black cat (1 season 26 episodes)
Busou Renkin (1 season 24 episodes)Elemental Gelade (1 season 20 something episodes xD)
The Familiar of Zero (4 Seasons cant remember episode amounts)My Recommendations:
H.O.T.D- its funny action packed and full of romance( Must see)
Eureka 7- Mecha,funny parts,romantic drama(Must see "if" your a fan of true love stories and how 2 people go through so much to be with each other.In fact I recommend my favourites list above as all MUST SEE. Thnx 4 reading

So do you like Dragon ball(or dragon ball Z) ? I mean it fits the action+comedy part but not the romantic part, but thats still 70%!
I personally don't watch anime that much, so I don't know any of those titles, lol.

I have seen all the movies for dragon ball/dragon ball z/ and GT. And iv seen all the Tv episodes up until GT. I agree it is a good anime but in a way its too repetitive for me.

We do actually have a whole section on the board for anime... so I think this thread will be heading there now.



As for my personal picks...



Durarara!!: Brilliant writing, excellent character development, lots of intense action to keep you interested

Shinryaku! Ika Musume (aka Squid Girl): Just a really fun show and I adore Ika.

Angel Beats!: An incredibly touching/dramatic show with top-notch writing

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Another well-written show that really throws you for a loop... but it's the movie that really seals the deal here.

Ouran Highschool Host Club: A harem show AND a reverse harem show at the same time? Never thought you could do that and they did it without touching on the annoying parts of either.

Azumanga Daioh: The slice-of-life show before Japan started making 5 every season.

Bamboo Blade: Who knew kendo could be so interesting?

   My favorite anime was Elfen Lied.  (If you're under 18, I don't recommend watching it.)  It's about a crop of humans emerge with extremely powerful mutations, lending them telekinetic abilities. Fearing the power that these new people possess, the government institutionalizes them at early ages or even birth, calling them dicloniuses.

   In these facilities, dicloniuses are cruelly experimented on until the day that they are executed. One diclonius, however, escapes. A young woman named Lucy, mired in hatred and rage from years of abuse, breaks free from the numerous forms of restraint placed on the facility and, killing some guards in the process, flees into the night.
  
   Then Lucy meets a man named Kouta.  Kouta rescues Lucy and he takes care of Lucy.  But, Lucy's wrath is sectioned off into one existing personality, then another persona emerges that is innocent, gentle, and child-like.  She even lacks the ability to speak in this persona.  The only thing she can say is "Nyu", so Kouta names her Nyu.

   Elfen Lied deals with the issue of human evolution but more strongly focuses on matters of trauma, identity, and compassion.  So, we can not only share this Anime with our friends but learn from it as well.

I pretty much like all anime but there are a few out there that are the best in my eyes.  I recently discovered "Fairy Tail".it is a very good show about magic casting,interesting characters, it is funny and the fight sequences get pretty intense.  And there is always the naruto series. 

There are a load of anime shows that most people don't know of which makes it difficult to find ones which fit your full interests. At the moment I'm watching High school of the dead and personally although its a little "adult themed" in a away it is hilarious and full of action and enough romance to give the story a epic tale. What is your favourite theme song.I am listening to them now.My favourite is the original.

Probably Pokemon or Naruto(Shipuuden and original are both great)
