I don't know if I have said this already, but the first shiny Pokémon that I ever had was a shiny geodude, in Pokémon Ruby inside granite cave. That was so memorial to me, and I am happy I got the chance to experience the life of first shiny. Oh, and it was on a real Pokémon Ruby Game, on a real game system.

I lucked out, but since I only played the first generation games at the time I had no idea what it was so I restarted the game thinking it was like a creepy pasta since it was black. It really scared me, but I was younger at the time. I then looked it up and face palmed myself. It really was a tragic story. The first shiny I caught was a shiny spearow in firered. I also caught a shiny rattata, tentacool, and pikachu.
