This game is a hack of Telefang, and renamed with Pokémon Jade.
Now this game has nothing what so ever that is in any way related to Pokémon. However it is a very fun and enjoyable game.
The only similarity to Pokémon is how the combat screen is layed out, which is still a downgrade (imo) from the Pokémon's original layout.
I still love this game though and I recommend you give it a try. It is very creative. In the start of the game you find yourself playing baseball. Yes, your character is a baseball player. He wears his baseball gear throughout the game. Something weird about the game is you call the Pokémon through a cell phone. Yes, a cell phone. How the Pokémon talk I do not know. But hey, this isn't suppose to be realistic anyways.
Pokémon Jade was one of the reasons I came to this site. I find it very entertaining.

PROS -
1. Creative world
2. Interesting and eye catching "Pokémon"
3. New characters
4. Cute graphics

CONS -
1. Bad sounds, still acceptable.
2. Somewhat difficult
3. Cussing (which doesn't bother me)

Over all, give this game a try
