A close tie between Mega Man and the original Castlevania. Both games had smooth controls, great attacking elements, and awesome level design. I would have to say I like Mega Man a little bit more, however, because it presents more of a challenge and really make you think before moving. Castlevania does this too, but usually with enemies, whilst Mega Man does this with every aspect of each level. The graphics in Castlevania were vibrant but Gothic at the same time, but Mega Man's were unique and showcased laboratories and futuristic cities, which was an uncommon sight in the NES era.

My favourite NES game is Super Mario Bros (the first one) because it's simple and challenging.

My favorite is Mega Man 2. As I'm sure you can tell I am a megaman fan and Mega Man 2 is the game that really kicked off the franchise. I do enjoy Super Mario Bros. as well though.

My favorite NES game to play was Super Mario Bros 3.
I didn't have many games for it at the time because I was
young and I didn't mind playing the same thing over and over.
It was always fun cause my family would also play with me at
times .

Hmm good question. It's probably either a toss up with super Mario bros 3 and Battletoads.

However, I still have many games to explore in the RGR so who knows . . .
