The most overrated games in my opinion are: 1. Minecraft, EVERYONE NEVER STOPS TALKING ABOUT IT! I mean I'm sure its fun, but do we really need 1,000,000,000,000 videos on it? 2. Goldeneye for N64, now don't track my IP address and beat me up IRL just yet, It was a great game back in the 90's. It hasn't aged well and is inferior to even the lamest of modern shooters in comparison. 3. Ocarina of Time, I LOVE this game, but so does everyone else, although its a good game its just sort of overdone and there isn't anything to say about it that hasn't been said. 4. Skyrim, This also has 999,999,999,999,991 fan boys all talking about it ALWAYS. While some of their antics are funny, they got old fast. That's right FUS RO DAH and Arrow to the knee, I'm looking at you two. 5. Pokémon, Everybody always talks about it. And I know I really shouldn't be complaining about things I don't play, it just seems over-hyped. For Pokémon and Skyrim the day I lost all respect for them was when I frequented a Pokémon fan site, the top-rated post was "Lets take Pokémon, and make it Skyrim" with a few badly made pictures showing it off. It had thousands of up votes and comments. I had no choice but to nope out of there.

I think Skyrim is overrated. I have played it once or twice, and it is really boring and I don't understand it. All you do in that game is run around and kill people. Like Call of Duty. That game is overrated also. Just going around shooting people. Save that for actual combat. Like paintball. That isn't overrated at all. I bet half the people playing COD suck at paintball. I'd like to see them to go out and shoot people in real life and feel the same pain. 

Modern shooters are usually very overrated. At my school it's Call of Duty this or Grand Theft Auto that. I don't play games like that because they seem too mature for my age, but some people I know have been playing these M-rated games since 2nd or 1st grade. Besides, I don't see any real entertainment in just running around and killing people. I heard Grand Theft Auto Vice City or whatever had some great songs in it, but I still feel it's otherwise gruesome, a bad influence, and boring.

Cod we all know that this game is overrated I mean same story generic shooter game  also people (mainly people on chuggaconroy videos) say play a real man's game like Cod 7 year olds play that game! How is it a real man's game if kids play it! Also there is.. MINE CRAFT I CANT STAND MINE CRAFT the graphics ugh I can't stand it and what is the point of it (random guy) to build and-(me) I don't care there is not story to many hacks or "mods" what is the real point! This has been a rage message from Paper Luigi.

I think Little Big Planet was the most overrated game ever. I can't believe that people thought that there was ever a time when the gameplay of LBP was even remotely fun. I mean, sure, I do enjoy creating levels, but when I actually play my levels, I realize that the level creation tools suck, the physics suck, the pacing sucks, everything looks like crap, there's very little atmosphere, and my levels just generally suck (these were levels that I made on LBP2. I put a lot of work into this series of levels before I eventually ended up cancelling it, and the levels were actually quite enjoyable by LBP standards, but still nowhere near as enjoyable as a REAL platformer. I got bored of it very quickly. Also, now that people like Latin_Player_10 are ruining LBP2 ("can anyone say "copy button"?), people have started complaining to no end about how someone needs to try to save LBP. Can't these people understand that LBP is just stupid, pointless, and hopeless to begin with? Even the CAMPAIGN LEVELS were nowhere near fun to play.

Boarderlands. I do not get what is so cool about that game. I have tried it, and personally I think it sucks. It is just another shoot them up, with not much of a unique story line. 

I think any game in the Call of Duty series is overrated. But almost everyone in my school plays Call of Duty!

thing1 : Borderlands 1 sucked, I agree with you. Borderlands 2 was overrated, but it is a much better value for your money compared to Borderlands 1 (BL1 was just extremely rushed and completely bland). BL2 actually has a little bit of a story, there is loads more variety, and the combat is actually fun while it lasts, but at the end of the day, yeah, it's basically just another big dumb shooter-fest with a thin layer of RPG elements (pun not intended) thrown on top of it. Loot-grinding and shoot-grinding...sigh...most of the DLC sucked, sadly. Also, the so-called "humor" that everyone praises BL for is really not that funny, is it?

Call of duty Is the most overrated game I've seen . My friends last year couldn't stop bragging about how they got call of duty I don't have the game but from the people around me it's the only thing that went in there heads , It was really annoying !!!

Call of Duty and any type of first person shooter is overhyped and overrated. It's not a bad genre, don't get me wrong, but it's being brought to us as the "best thing to come in the evolution of gaming" or at least that's what I'm getting at. Most of the time, they suck badly.

I think those shooting games like call of duty, and things, but still though they are pretty darn cool.

I have a new entry and it has nothing to do with the game.
The game is good.
But the fans have officially offended me.
I need to mention "Grand Theft Auto."

I dig the game. But I can not tolerate the fans.
Particularly the ones who are too under-aged to be playing it in the first place. Why are the Doom fans so Cooler compared to these guys? Why are the Mortal Kombat fans Tame compared to these people?

So you can push a button to view a fake "Car-Jacking". Big deal. So can everyone on "Youtube".

Not all of the fan base but it seems to be all of the people with microphones. It says it all. Year on year almost the same game is reproduced with slightly better graphics and no new game play (since zombies) it is so over rated by every one. Ever. And the community around it gets worse than what was every game before it. The games are so bad they would still be over-rated if it was talked about like sonic 06 by haters.

P.S I'm sorry for the COD players that know grammar and I'm sorry for the general COD player impression. It was necessary to prove a point.
