Opinions:

1. Switch out the ram for 4 gigs instead, ram is cheap and helps a lot with performerance.
2. Ditch emdia center, it sucks and ain't worth it. Get pro instead (Or pirate as I said but ehh)
3. The CPU seems a little weak too, maybe invest some more for a 3Ghz?

The rest is fine though.

Ehh, problem is that upgrading ram without entirely changing the sticks causes performance loss, trust me when I say that going for two stick on 2GB each is much better than adding on.
And well, the media features aren't really worth it from my opinion but well whatever floats your boat.

And dual core 2,6Ghz is rather low. At least try for an 2.8.

Going for slightly bigger will give you more value for your money.

I'm pretty sure the 2 GB I am getting is on 1 stick. I can't figure out if you are saying two 2 GB sticks is good or bad.

And I don't really see 200 mhz making that much of a difference with the kind of numbers we are talking about.

Well, if you buy another stick of the exact same sort then yeah an upgrade might work, it's just that not all sticks work good with each other.

Actually this particular processor is good about being overclocked as I know someone who has one and has overclocked it I totally forgot about that.

And Yeah, I'd just pick up another 2 gig stick. I may end up getting that for Christmas as well as it's only $35, but I just don't have the extra $35 right now.

That's what I thought at first, but your smile face made me unsure. Oh well.

If I had more money I could of easily added more ram and a better processor/motherboard and seen about a better graphics card (I'm not spending $400 for one or anything) and built a monster.

Well I ordered all my stuff. I ended up spending a bit less with some slight adjustments. I found a great deal on an 8800GT it will end up costing me $99. Altogether I should pay just under $700. I will hopefully get some of the stuff in starting Friday and then probably the first half of next week for the rest.
