Granted, you are now a force to be reckoned with in Melee, but outside of playing Melee, your hands become clumsy, oafish cinderblocks that make most simple day to day tasks nearly impossible. Tying your shoe? Forget it. Opening a door? Nope. (Though I guess you could just smash your way through them now—heh, see what I did there?)

I wish I could instantly absorb all the knowledge contained in a book just by touching the cover.
