Is there a way to delete all saved data including the game and start from scratch and redownload?
Because on a few of my games, it opens to a previously saved spot, even after I start a new game.
So now I cannot start a new game, nor continue on the game saved because it always returns to that particular save point.

Help please?

Thanks a bunch!

So I am just a little confused and need a little clarification. First, are you doing in game saves or save states? Next, if you are doing in game saves, are you saying that you start a new game and play it for a while, save your new game file, but when you load it still brings up the one from before? Do I have that right?

Sorry, I am using save states. Then I quit playing for a while, started to play again, resaved, and when I tried to play again, it always brings up the original save that I did. Does that help?

It does. My first question is when you hit F2 to save your game, does your screen show you the confirmation that it saved successfully? If it does, have you checked the Save File Manager to see if it is in there (remember that there is only a point in doing this if you are getting that message that says your save was successful)

Save File Manager can be accessed on the Retro Game Room index page towards the top of the page and to the left of where it shows who is on that page. The saves can be deleted from there.

If deleting them from there doesn't fix the problem, you can also delete them from your Plugin Data Folder by opening your Start Menu, then All Programs, Vizzed Retro Game Room, Open Plugin Data Folder.
