Come here and tell us your favorite apps! Be sure to say what OS (such as iOS, Android, BlackBerry OS, etc.), if it's a phone or tablet app, and what it does.

My favorite apps (all Android phone apps unless stated otherwise):

Dolphin Browser Mini: A terrific, lightweight browser that is very fast and has an elegant interface.

Opera Mini: A browser that is great for browsing in low-data (in laymans terms: low speed) areas. It's an extremely lightweight browser that, in itself, doesn't do anything. You type/tap on where you want to go, the browser tells the Opera servers what to load, the servers are Opera's base processes the page and then compresses it, and finally sends it to you. The result is a greatly decreased file-size. This is also really good for when you have a limited amount of 3G/4G data, like I do. It can even tell you how much data the pages were, and how much data you received. Just the other day I browsed 40mb worth of pages, and I only received around 6.5mb of data. Impressive!

Vlingo: Vlingo is a personal assistant, much like Siri on iPhone. Although not as sophisticated or good, it's still damn good. The voice recognition is great, and everything. You can use Vlingo to text somebody, find restaraunts, businesses, locations, call someone, etcetera. The permissions required to run the app, such as record audio, may seem creepy, but it's not actually bad. That permission is just so it can record your voice when you want to tell it something, then it runs that audio clip through its database and does what you want it to. It's better than Skyvi, a paid app, in my humble opinion.

iHeartRadio: An amazing online music service that plays songs on "radio stations." You can listen to local stations, stations based on songs, or stations based on artists. You can like or dislike songs, letting iHeartRadio further personalize what music it plays for you. It's really similar to Pandora, which isn't a bad thing. Coming from Pandora, I think that iHeartRadio is better.

WeatherBug: An app that uses the GPS in your phone to find your location and give you weather for where exactly you are at. Example: Say I live in Vizzed Ville North, WeatherBug will give me the weather there. Then I travel to Vizzed Ville South, WeatherBug uses GPS to see my location and then tells me the weather there. It also gives you notifications if there's any unusual weather or anything, such as fog, fires, or tornado watches/warnings. It uses various weather sources, such as The Weather Channel and local news to give you the weather. GPS isn't used for anything bad.

InkPad: Just a simple app for jotting down notes. Nothing special here.

Brightest Flashlight: An app that allows you to use the LED on the back of your phone (read: what's used as the flash in pictures) as a flashlight. If you don't have one or want to use it, it also has the ability to make your screen really bright.

PocketManga: Anybody who likes manga needs this app. It's fantastic. It allows you to read manga off of various sites, such as MangaFox. You can tap the corners of the screen or swipe to change pages, you can choose which side you need to tap/swipe from in order to go to the next page(default is left side, since manga is read right-to-left), and you can pinch-zoom. You can also adjust the ways you turn pages. You can turn off taps and swipes to turn pages, make the volume buttons turn pages, plus, if you have an Xperia Play like myself, you can just use the triggers to turn the pages.

Many of these are for the newer iOS:

Photon- So I can browse sites with chat of course.  Although this app is somewhat expensive (about $5), it is extemely useful. It basically allows your ipod/iphone/ipad to either browse sites/ play games that would normally require flash to do it. The mouse slides along with your finger, though it isn't always 100% accurate.

Crunchyroll- So that I can watch episodes of my favorite anime straight out of Japan. I don't really watch all that many anime shows; I only watch a handful. The main ones that I like to watch are Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, The Prince of Tennis 2, and occasionally I'll browse for something new (like Code Geass).

Zenonia 1-4: These are some of the greatest RPG games for the iPhone that I've ever seen. It's about a boy named Regret who was abandoned as a baby and taken in by a commanding officer who raises Regret as his son. Over time, Regret travels + fights monsters to find out the truth about his past/ identity. Towards the end of the series, Regret comes across a similar baby and the story then kinda repeats itself. Chael, the baby, is one day looking for a birthday present for his girlfriend when he suddenly teleports to an unknown universe. He has to fight and find a way to get back to his home planet. During the adventure, he comes across a girl that looks exactly like his girlfriend.........
