Can anybody tell me what the purpose of the items in the item shop are? i understand that theyre weapons and such, but what exactly are they being used for?

Now, answering your question, actually a few items can be useful, not the weapons and other equipment though. Those will be useful later once the Battle Arena will be released on Vizzed Board. The owner is working on this feature but it's going to take a while. However, accessories like the Gameboy, the laptop and the other things are currently useful if you want to play the games in the Retro Game Room.

There's actually no use for most of them at the moment. They are just for decoration I guess

Well, laian pretty much got the basics of them, but I think I will go into just a little more detail. When you go to your profile, you will notice RPG like statistics, level, and experience points. Basically, the more you post, the more experience points you get. You will notice it says how many experience points per post you get. This amount increases based on 2 factors. How many total points you have and how many days you have been a registered member. The more you post combined with the more posts you make, the more experience points you will get per post. Like an RPG, the higher your level the more your stats. The items like armor and weapons can be purchased to further increase those stats. Those stats, for now, are useless. Somewhere down the road, David intends to finish the battle arena, which is where users can battle each other where their stats will actually come to use. Hope all that helps.
