My favorite characters from Dynasty Warriors are Zhou Tai, Xiao Qiao, Cao Pi, Xing Cai, Jiang Wei, and Lu Bu. XD I do not remember much of the characters from Samurai Warriors but I do remember Masamune Dante and Nobunaga Oda, Ranmaru Mori, and Hanzo Hattori. Who are your favorites?

Never? Well Dynasty Warrior takes place in China during the Era of the Three Kingdoms, where you can play as the many different characters of each Kingdom and a few others. (Dynasty Warrior 7 has 4 kingdoms though, the 4th one being the last one after the Three Kingdoms Era was ending.) As for Samurai Warriors, that takes place in Japan during the Nobunaga Oda coming of reign and after. Both are typically the same game play except for the characters and history of what you play. There's also Xtreme Legends and Empires for most of the games. Xtreme Legends is where you play through a characters important battle and story. I personally like Empire the best though, where it is the same hack and slash game, but to ensure victory for most of the time, you have to capture bases and make you way to the objective, being able to capture officers in a battle or hiring them or become allies to unite China (DW) or Japan (SW). On top of that, you could make your own character and play through a fiction empire mode with people of your choice and basically however you want.

I don't have a favorite character, and I never heard or played that game until MarcMoney stickied that petition.

Anyways. *moved*

Lu Bu is just crazy broken, he can wipe out hordes of mooks in a combo. He was my best endurance character.

Liu bei, lu bu is strongest but his arogance is infuriating and in empires his revamp is terrible, liu bei is a far more humble and nice character, and when you get some xp under your belt he can be a solid challenge.
