having been through the Word of God front to back many times, i usually go through it these days in random ways to give it a little variety.
recently i read just the last chapter of each book from Genesis to Revelation, and currently am reading just the first chapter of each book from Revelation to Genesis.
i stopped at 2 Chronicles yesterday.
so, not much further to go to Genesis.

M364 : I can sorta relate to that; I've read from cover to cover and it honestly took me about 6 years the 1st time. Past couple years I've been trying to stick to reading - having already read it.

Today  I read from God's Word quite a bit.  I've found more and more lately, that it's my most surefire way to be comforted.

However, one of the stories I read was that of Cain and Abel.  It's amazing how God leads us to gain new thoughts and knowledge even when we read a passage we are quite familiar with.  He knows our hearts more than we know our own, and who better could I trust with all matters of the heart and soul?
