So my friends told me to watch 127 hours, so I did recently. It was a great movie overall. The accident with the boulder is a great example of how radically our lives can be changed in a second, if you don't look before you leap. His persistence is also inspiring, that he wouldn't give up and wouldn't let go.

The only part I couldn't stand was when he amputated his arm and the end. I had to turn away for the whole scene, because I can't stand watching pain like that. >w<

So has anyone else seen this movie? What stood out to you the most?

I did see it. When it first happened several years ago, I saw the story, so I knew what was going to happen going into it.

I can only imagine being trapped somewhere like in the movie, and having to resort to hurting myself to get free. It seems awful.

Ah, stuck there for 5 days until he gets his arm amputated. Gotcha. Not a nice way to have things end. Seems interesting to know how he struggled to survive for that entire time.

Cyro Xero : The actual incident happened in 2003, to a man named Aron Ralston. He's still alive today. In fact, I think he played a pretty big role in making the movie.

The movie came out in 2011. So it's probably been out a year, year-and-a-half. It's probably out on Redbox or Blockbuster or something. x3
