Aya looked as everyone started picking out their phones. She had a regular one at home, but she didn't know which one to choose among these.

She placed Momiji on top of the glass case, who walked over to one of the phones and barked at it. "I'll take that one," Aya said. Momiji had picked out a pink flip-phone that looked pretty thin and lightweight. Aya figured, if Momiji likes it, then she would like it.

Hikaru: Alright, all set. Now for the weapons.

*Walks to the other side of the room

Hikaru: They are all made to absorb magic particles same as your cellphones. They're all effective against magical beings. Be sure to check the battery once in a while. Remember that It takes time for it to finish charging so always keep it in mind when you're engaging in battle. It charges by itself. Also, I know some of you already have their own weapons, but still choose one among the weapons here and bring it with you, just in case...

((Sairek already has his jewel on his hoody for this; and I don't know what kind of weapon an eight-year-old child could really wield anyways without going out of character. Should I still try to come up with one, or is two weapons; one for an emergency where he loses his staff (the jewel) fine? I would feel kind of odd if Sairek had three weapons. Lol))

"Hmm..." Aya looked at the varied display of magical weapons. She glanced over the various guns, staves, swords, and lances that covered the walls and tables of the room. On the side of one of the tables, she saw a pair of light blue gloves, but with the tips cut off so one could stick their fingers through them. The palms of the gloves had a green pattern in the center of them.

Hikaru noticed Aya looking at the gloves. She walked over to her. "These gloves don't look like they do much, but they're actually enhanced for magic-user. You see this pattern in the middle of it? It helps concentrate your magic there, so your attacks, or heals, become more potent. Plus, it stores magic of its own so it can increase the power of your magic." She took the gloves and put them on Aya. "Hey, they're not bad looking either." She smiled.

Aya smiled right back. "Thank you, Hikaru." Momiji barked in her own gratitude as well.

Sairek looked at all the weapons; looking over all of them slowly. He frowned after a few moments as he slowly turned his head to look towards Hiraku.

Sairek: ...I don't think I can really use any of these... None of them are my size or I simply don't know how to use most of them... And I don't think me running around with any type of gun on hand would be smart either.

Instead of a offensive gadget can we have back up defensive? Since I specified that my character only use his magic and hands as a "weapon".
What I had in mind was a device that emits a protective shield with limited use and needs to recharge for usage. If not it's ok I don't want to deviate too much from what you already narrated.
