I just had to make this thread.  Proactiv says that it is the number one acne treatment in the world.  I see it on TV...CONSTANTLY!!  Every time I watch a program and the commercial just goes one, no matter what the proactiv commercial would always be there in between the shows.  I am getting tired of this because I see it everyday and it gets annoying.  I do not get why they have not put it in stores ever since they made the commercial.  It does not make sense.  If you say it is the number one acne treatment in the world, then prove it and put it in stores to see what others think about it cause people don't like calling someone for one, it is stupid.  I think that proactiv is fake because of this.  They put it on TV all the time just so people would think that it would actually work.  I would not want to get one because I don't trust advertisements on TV.  If anyone has tried it, let me know if it worked for you or not because I always mute my TV when that commercial is on.  Yeah, get over 500 people to say that it works on TV and give them money for saying it, especially with celebrities.  I bet they pay people a thousand dollars to say that proactiv really works.  Let me know if you are sick of the commercials and think that it is fake or not cause proactiv is making me sick.

The sad part is proactive doesn't fix ugly faces that is what makeup and photoshop is used for. Acne goes away on its own you don't need to blow $30 on cream when your acne will go away in same time as without it.

Proactive is much like liquor, people use it to escape reality. Then when reality comes knocking at their door and they are sober again or get ugly again they feel the urge to purchase more so they can feel good about life. We are all ugly, all our lives suck... deal with it and stop trying to hide your ugly face

I personally think that those kind of products are a waste of money, because they essentially do the same thing washing your face every night does. If you watch what you eat and keep yourself clean, acne shouldn't really be much of a problem. So why spend a ton of money on over-priced cream?

I agree. Those commercials get on my nerves. =| I seem to see them about 10 times day. And where's the proof that Proactiv does any good? Honestly. It's a waste of money.

I find this commercial so annoying, it's over played and just stupid.

I saw an advert for this today,the first one iv seen.it was terrible,and fake looking.

I agree with the fact that it is CONSTANTLY ON TV ALL THE EFFIN TIME!!!! Not to mention that they take up a HUGE amount of time right IN THE MIDDLE of my show for something that obviously doesn't do anything! 
Actually...all i have seen is that proactiv HIDES acne and not removing it. Like anybody gives a crap about a overpriced consealor (no idea how to spell that).
Although the really bad ones are the ones that sells vaccum cleaners.
Every infomercial suck unless they have Billy Mays (and he is dead!).

Lol JigSaw. Yes, I used to see their advert a lot a few months ago... but now I don't really watch much actual television, just Netflix, so I don't have to deal with any of the commercials.

Saves time that could be spent otherwise.

I do not care for the Proactiv commercials. I do not care for their products. If you want to get rid of acne, here is an easy-to-follow tip. Keep your pillow case clean. Acne forms when body soil sits on the surface for a while. As long as you have a clean pillow case, acne is less-likely to develop. Do not forget, Cyro Xero made a thread about acne treatment in the Health/Fitness forum!

yes these commercials are annoying but i just ignore them

When I was a teenager, I use to get those mammoth zits on my face.. like right at the tip of my nose, or dead center on my forehead.. big nasty red ones that wouldn't show a white head for days.. terribly embarrassing.  I tried Clearasil a few times but it seemed to make things worse.  I stuck with regular soap to wash my face and just accepted that I was a hideous boil faced hormone raging teen. (No offense to people with pimply faces reading this... I was right there with you at one time).

It's a total waste...I will say if you're looking for acne treatment you're better off buying oxy pads or rubbing alcohol on a cloth, and wipe over said area after exposing it to hot water...it will not work for everyone but I seen it half the time to get rid of acne and I seen it keep it away due to the alcohol content. The proactive is an absolute waste and I have yet to see a single person who used it to get it to work. Just keep things clean and you shouldn't have as much trouble.

Ah proactive is so annoying, its something to say, "HEY, YOU HAZ PIMPLES, RUB THIS IN YOUR FACE AND GET RID OF IT!" Then you realize that something in it you are allergic then your face gets more puffed and it just did the opposite then it was "suppose" to. Yeah, its gonna happen.

All the ads for proactive are annoying.

It may fix your zits but will it fix Avril Lavine and Katie Perry's  broken nose after I punch them in the face?
