I will listen to anything besides pop and old music (pre- 70's)
But my favorite is classic rock and modern rock.
I all but stopped listening to hip hop now... its all nonsense.
I liked hip hop back in the 90's early 00's when they rapped about life, and stuff they experienced not stupid crap like now-a-days.

Classic Rock.

I love Alternative Rock. So many of my favorite bands fall under that genre. =P I'll listen to just about anything though, except country, rap and metal. 

I'm fairly tolerant when it comes to music....except for the blue's, country and jazz music, too slow and depressing for me.

I'm a huge fan of the current Pop, Rap, and Rock music, so that's my answer.

I like light rock and moderately fast country.

Blink-182 is my favorite punk band. Simple Plan is my second.

I like musicians from all of those categories. Since my favourite artist is Björk, it's hard to categorize her. She does a little bit of most popular genres. I'll go with all of the above (plus electronic and world).

I love a good variety of genres, but some notable exceptions are Pop, Hip Hop, techno dance music, and rap. I think all of these genres got potential, but the vast vast majority of what I heard just doesn't appeal to me...

My favorite genre is a tossup, but a huge one has to be the blues.

I listen to anything that I can enjoy, but heavy metal, crust punk, punk, hardcore punk, emocore, screamo, death metal, black metal, blues, horror hip hop, hip hop, industrial, ebm, harsh ebm, old pop punk, doom metal, goth rock, nu metal, and celtic punk are among my favorite types of music. I also like psychedelic music. I have gained a taste for old 1950's and 1930's style music you find in Fallout 3, as well. I don't know if it's swing music, but it's awesome when listening to it while doing things that make no sense with such happy music, like shooting the heads off guys in suits in Fallout 3.

I like just about any kind of electronic music as long as it isn't too upbeat. Once it's too upbeat for me to handle, I hate the song.

I like anything with a goth theme to it. Not mall goth type of stuff, but actual goth. I also enjoy some jazz, as well as dark ambient, post punk, and some new wave. I quite like depressing, or somber types of classical music, too. Chopin is the only one I know of, sadly. *sigh*

I like all kinds of music but rock is my favorite.

I like pretty much everything, I'm not too picky with music. I even like country, and don't get why everyone hates them. I just don't get why, it's pretty good. Even saying it's slow, there are plenty of modern country songs that are upbeat. It just seems to be a "My generation disapproves of this, so I can not like it" thing.

My favorite is rock music but I do listen to other types of music from time to time.  I am not a fan of new rap music but I do like older rap music with Ice Cube and rappers like him.
