I'm actually listening to some Stone Sour right now.

Since the Green Jersey is all but won for the day, I decided to stop rating songs and listen to some YouTube. Stone Sour's music just speaks to my heart like few things can, probably because of how sad and / or angry most of it is lol. Their songs Bother, Say You'll Haunt Me, Absolute Zero, Tired, and so many more are just pure genius in the form of audio.

I'm listening to Hymn For The Missing by Red. I really want to post some words here but I'm afraid it'd be considered plagiarism. It's about losing someone, and I recommend it very highly. Also I'm listening to it because it's stuck in my head, and it's stuck in my head because I've had this sad Red playlist (Ordinary World, Shadows, As You Go, Hold Me Now, Hymn For The Missing) going a lot today since it fits the mood in a scene of a story I'm writing right now. It's another song that I think is often misapplied. It's often seen as talking about a negative "mark" and lost love, but I see it as being a very positive thing about the love of God. That love will change you and mark you for life.
But who am I to say? I didn't write it. Regardless it's an amazing song.

Now Yours Again is coming on so I'll shut up before I have to rewrite this entire post. Lol

It has a beautiful message and just speaks so much to me and how my life has played out over the past few years. Really addresses how the hand of God is at play in our lives even when we're running from Him, and He's just waiting until we finally get tired of running.

I'm listening to the OST for Caliber .50 for the Sega Genesis.

I don't know if it's bad timing or what, but again I'm only on the first track of the album. This makes it kind of hard to give a good description and / or feedback on my thoughts about the quality and feel of the music, since that's what I try to do each time I reply here. Having made it halfway through the second track while typing this and replying to someone off Vizzed, so far my impression is leaning toward mediocre lol.

It's mostly about partying / doing drugs, with a few things about women / relationships mixed in there. I bought the CD of it right about the time I started doing all that kind of stuff my self, so this was the album I listened to pretty often while hanging out with friends / girls and using all the substances I did. I love how the tracks about hooking up with girls are written in a way that playing the songs to them can actually help your chances more than hurt them, depending on the type of girl anyway lol. That's not always some thing that's easy to come by outside of genre's like R&B or soft rock ballads
