I usually wake up once or twice a night, unless I'm only sleeping for a short time. But unlike most other people, I don't mind it. I absolutely love the feeling of falling back asleep, and it never takes me more than a couple minutes to do so.

I wake up all the time during my sleep, I can't say the middle of the night because well it's 6:15am currently and I haven't slept yet. I guess it depends on how tired I am when I fall asleep and how comfortable I am, when I do fall asleep though it's usually hard to wake me unless I wake myself up somehow. I really hate waking up once I've fallen asleep cause I usually lay there and stare at the map on my ceiling until I get tired again, being tired but not being able to sleep.. sucks. But yeah.. me and my sleeping cycle get into fights, a lot.

When I was younger I used to wake up every night, because for some weird reason I always had horribly terrifying dreams. But, as time went on it happened more and more infrequently.

I remember when one of my dogs woke up like clockwork at 3am every day to ask to use the bathroom. He doesn't do that anymore (why he stopped, I don't know), so I usually get a full uninterrupted nights sleep. Although now that summer is getting closer, the air is getting humid and heavier, so it gets stuffier inside. I wake up often because I am hot, and so I slip off the comforter just to wake up an hour later because I'm too cold. Ugh.

I wake up at least twice. One I will wake up to go to the bathroom. The second one will be to take my second round of pain meds so I can have good sleep. The meds only last 4 hours so it doesn't last me all night long...

Considering that 4-5 AM constitutes middle of the night for some of you sleepyheads, I'll clarify my earlier post.

I go to sleep 12-3AM normally. I wake up at 4:30 naturally. Then again at around 5:30. After that I'm knocked out till 8 AM.

That's usually why I set an alarm to 5AM, so that if I don't get up at 4:30, I'm definitely up by 5.
