We're going to honor ~sakura~ again this year on August 10th by posting as much as we possibly can in single 1 day.  For those who don't know, she was a member who was diagnosed with leukemia about a year ago and had a very bad chance of survival, she made her going away thread here:

We haven't heard from her since so we don't know what whether she survived or not, we can only hope that she did but to honor and remember her, we're going to make this an annual thing.  August 10th our goal is to reach at least 1,000 posts but last year we got around 1600 and our current board record for most posts within a 24 hour period is 1915 so I'd really like to beat both of those records so I would really like to aim for 2000 posts in a single day.  I'll make another announcement once the post spree day officially begins and ends.

This is a great idea, total support on my part. I May have missed ~Sakura~ personally, but the story triggered a few things in my mind...count me in.

That's why I've barely been posting lately.

I sadly have a dentist appointment, and that also means I have to spend all day with my parents

I dunno how well I'll do since sprees aren't really my thing. But we'll see.

 I will do my best to post as much as I can on the 10th. I will post at midnight, 1 o'clock, even 2 o'clock. I will post everywhere there is to post, even if I get in trouble for spamming. I know that shes alive, she has to be. My friends aunt was diagnosed with cancer, and they said there was no way to cure it, that she would only live about another 2 months. Its been 3 years, and shes doing fine. I know that she is alive, and I challenge anyone who disagrees to prove it. I know she will come back, because I know that God is watching over her and wont let her die just yet. She will come back. I know it.

Count me in also! My teacher had leukemia and my whole school made a video honoring her great years of teaching and hoping the best that she will get better. This 1000 post will help honor Sakura with her difficulties and I hope she will come back tougher knowing that this 1000 post will honor her.

I'll see if I can take a shot at it. I don't go on true post sprees all that often, but I can usually put together a pretty impressive post count when I do. I even hit Ravering Syndrome+ once; maybe I can take a shot at hitting Veneevel on the 10th if I have time.

I'm definitely interested, but I don't know my schedule for the day. I'll post as much as I can, but I don't know how much that will be.

I'm kinda concerned that it might strain the server if a ton of people are posting at once

Oh well. That would actually be a good thing since it would mean a lot of people are posting.

I've been gone from Vizzed for quite a while, so long that I kind of thought someone would tell me what happened to her or better yet, she would tell me. But I'll still try my best to contribute as much as possible.

I'm very pleased with last years outcome, if she were here to see what we did in tribute to her, she'd be proud.

I think we can do better this year, because this year our userbase has doubled since last year, and our number of active posters has expanded too. We should have a very busy day on Wednesday.

I'm participating in full this year. I will post as most as I can.

Oh, and just a side note, just because it's a posting spree doesn't mean you spam, us, the staff are probably gonna be participating too, and we'll be on patrol practically double time with all the threads we'll be posting in. It's posting sprees where the staff are most on guard.

I'm going to try and participate in this as much as I can. I think it's a wonderful idea. I always wondered who she was and why everyone had something in their signatures about her, but I didn't think it was anything nearly as sad as this. Her goodbye thread was one of the most heart wrenching thing I have ever read. She sounded like she was an amazing post and I'm sad I never got a chance to read any of it. I just feel so sorry for her and hope she's just been silent from trying to recover and not the thing that scared her the most.

I read the threads and they were so sad, she seemed like a really great person its so sad she died so young, yet she managed to keep her integrity and calmness throughout the threads which is admirable, I really hope she's still alive and maybe she's just living life to the full now like in that film 'last holiday' shes probably off sky diving as we post, I'm sure she made the thousand cranes in time and I'm sure we can easily pull off a thousand posts in a single day.
