Well its very painful sometimes but, we have to continue, its good that you don't keep any grudges, it will make you light, and I think you should try to know the truth it will give you peace and you will be able to confront the situation. Its good to forgive and help, whilst doing your duty.  You should take courage and support your dad.  and bygones are passed cant get back those time....so you have to live what you have up ahead to you.  Now you know part of the truth and its never too late live every single moment happily...and offer your support....
