Well, I think its proven that the Judas turned Jesus in because the Romans like tortured him until he told them about Jesus....

According to the Bible Judas knew they want to catch Jesus when he was away from the crowds, so he offered to help and they paid him like 20 or 30 pieces of silver (which isn't much from what I gather). They captured Jesus and took Him to Pilate, the Roman govenor, he said he could not find a charge against Jesus, but the Pharisees (a group of Jews that sort of "ran things" for the Jews, they upheld the Jewish laws, etc.) said they wanted to crucify him. Pilate was a bit outnumbered and "washed his hands" of the situation, meaning the Pharisees could do as they wished.

Ahh, I c now... I must have gotten that mixed up somewhere...

My mom read some pretty interesting things about how Jesus was actually never crucified...

Its like this... It only took Jesus a couple hours to die, when a normal crucifixion took months, unless they didn't nail there feet to the cross (then they suffocated under the pressure of their body on their lungs) BUT! It is portrayed that Jesus's feet where in fact nailed to the bottom of the cross... A lie?.... A misconception?..... A Cover-up by the priory of scion?.... who really knows..

Well I go by what the bible says, if the bible lies than that would mean everything that in it is false and that the bible is just a book of fiction. Jesus was tortured beyond belief, bleeding like crazy, so that is why he died earlier. Jesus died for our sins so if he didn't really die on teh cross that would mean that we're all going to hell because there is no way we can have our sins forgiven.

I didn't read it, my mom did.... She was just telling me about it, I thought it was quite interesting...

I brought up the same thing to my mom, and she said they beat up everyone like that, and it STILL took days for them to die, and they usually died from dehydration..

Maybe there where other factors involved though.... I suppose no one really will ever know for sure... Thats why its called 'faith'... you know?
