Yeah I use it way to often which is Called OCD.I use it before eating,after typing on this keyboard(or washing my hands) touching the stirring wheel.handle bars,meat,pets touching my face,shaking hands and so on .I one in my pocket right now I never go without it .

Yeah, I tend to use that more than soap, I think it does a better performance in getting rid of germs in my opinion.

I use hand sanitizer when ever I see it laying around or when I think my hands are dirty but other than that I usually just wash them with warm water and soap.

I personally don't believe in using the Hand Gels too much. Stuff like that and overuse of Antibiotics are contributing to these "super viruses" to keep popping up. Viruses that kill humans and have no treatment for...

I muse it all the time, since I have this amazing fear of that Swine Flu that occurred in 2009 I think it was, can't exactly remember. I just use it all the time, even when I am bored....kinda wierd when you think about it but yeah.

I use it only under one circumstance, which is right after handling raw meat. The reason why is because those products that eliminate 99.9% of bacteria are not good for you for two reasons. First, your skin has its own natural bacteria used as the first line of defense for your immune system. Sanitizing gels cannot differentiate harmful bacteria from your own natural bacteria. So you are killing your first immune barrier, leaving you more vulnerable to foreign bacteria anyway. Pointless. Second, the worst thing you can do for immune system is coddle it. It will not build more immunities if it isn't exposed to stuff. This is why kids are so freaking sick these days. We feel we have to sanitize everything, which just weakens your immune system in the long run. Now, if I handle something gross, I'll wash my hands, but not with sanitizing gels. It is just ridiculous. I haven't been really sick for years, so I must be doing something right.

Absolutely. I work in a pharmacy and you deal with all kinds of people and all kinds of germs. It is really handy and you don't need to run to the bathroom every five minutes to wash your hands.

I don't use hand sanitizer too often, but I keep a bottle in my car because I'm a parent, and sometimes you need it. I don't really like to live in a sanitary environment because your immune system is like a muscle, and it needs to be exercised to stay strong. This means you have to get germs and other ickiness around you to stay healthy, as counter productive as that seems.
