Pokémon has been around for what seems like forever now. Whether it came from a game, a card, or something else, what was the first Pokémon you owned?

I know my first Pokémon was a card, but I'm not positive which one. After checking Bulbapedia, I think my first cards came from Brushfire (I can't believe I forgot about Brushfire). If that's right, then Charmander would have probably been my first card ever which would make Charmander my first Pokémon ever.

I gave it to my best friend because his favorite Pokemon is Mewtwo. As for my first in-game Pokemon, other than my starter (Cyndaquil from Pokemon Silver), was... I think it was actually Spinarak. Don't quote me on that, though. It's been... seven years, I think. Six or seven.
