I have never been stalked, I'm not exactly worth stalking. And your stories are really creepy sunflower. Like, legit. Especially the pedo one and the psychotic girl one. What mental issues did she have? Like schizo, insanity, both, or something else?

Well, I'm not exactly sure what mental illnesses she had. But I know it was enough to make me move away and go into hiding. I sure hope I'm not that attractive, cause I don't need anymore psychotic people in my life. Haha. I'm doing better now, but I am definitely more cautious than I was in the past.

I've been stalked once before. I used to go to Xat chat rooms, and some 16 year old girl took it upon herself to message me the moment I came online to the moment I would go off. I would tell her to stop stalking me and I was 4 years younger tha her, but that didn't deter her at all. In fact, it only seemed to give her determination, which creeps me the f*** out. I was 12 at the time, now I'm 14, closing in on 15.

I'm not very popular. Most people who don't know me think I'm a stalker (which I'm not, well on fb I occasionally look through some photos but they made them public in the first place, I'd never hurt anybody!). I've heard stoner a few times as well (I have and will never take part in drugs, I guess it's the hair that gives them those ideas?) and even rapist (which really made me sad to hear; I would never ever EVER do anything of the sort). I don't like when people make accusations on others without even talking to them. Anyway, I've never been stalked (to my knowledge). Most people don't bother to talk to me or get to know me because I'm a pretty quiet (and possibly strange) dude.

I've only been stalked by 1 girl when I was 16 who was convinced that i was her boyfriend. (I was extremely drunk when I met her for the first time.) I though her friend was cute but was too intoxicated to get her number and had to settle for her less attractive friend. The next morning I awoke to find 16 texts on my phone, all from the same girl. I figured I would hang out with her the next weekend and clarify that I did not want to date her. It didn't work. Even after repeated attempts to tell her that I did not want to date, I started to be flat out mean to her and when even that didn't work I just flat out ignored her. She sent creepy voice and text messages for the next three years and then they finally ended when she got a new "boyfriend". Thank God I never told her where I lived or it might have been worse that what it was.

Oh scary stuff MC. I'm glad she finally left you alone. But wow, three years? I'm sorry you had to go through that.

I was/am harassed by someone over the internet. While he can't actually come to my house and stalk me since he doesn't know my address, he did call my cell phone and leave me text messages... He made upwards of a hundred accounts to talk to me on different sites using private messages - All of his messages were extremely lengthly and very disturbing. I don't think I can repeat their content on Vizzed since it's really inappropriate. Most of them I just deleted without reading, but sometimes my morbid curiosity got the best of me and I would read a few paragraphs... Ugh. So creepy. Most of what he said is still stuck in my head.

He has a lot of fake screen names, so I'm very wary of who I speak with online now... Every once in a while he'll try to add me on MSN. He will pretend to be a different person for a while until he changes the subject and admits that it's him.

I tried reporting him to the various sites where he has followed me, but the staff never did anything. Most of the time I ended up having to delete my accounts. Sometimes my block list had 30+ accounts of his on it, and he still wouldn't stop making more to send me creepy stuff each day.

This has been going on for a couple months now, probably about six months or more. So far it's died down, but he still tries to make contact with me every once in a while even though I have specifically said "Do not contact me anymore". Probably every few weeks (as opposed to every day, so that's a plus I guess...)

WOW, may I ask how you met him? That is creepy tho, if you have to report him to the police, that is a form of stalking.

Annette : How does he find you? have you tried changing all your email's and phone numbers and stuff? try to talk to the cops.

M!cH@3l 001 : Most likely because my usernames are my real name. For Facebook, my E-mail and DeviantArt I use my real name because I use all of those accounts professionally. I don't feel the need to hide myself or my work behind a screen name.

He's never actually made a direct threat to my safety or any motion to come to my house, or anything like that. While his messages might be considered sexual harassment (among other things) I have no grounds to call the police on him. There's nothing they can really do to help me, nor do I suspect they would really care

Well, honestly, I have been stalked a view times. There was this guy back in high school that called me all the time and would show up at my club room, but my friends made it clear that I did not want him around. There were actually a few like that.

The scary one was one of my ex-boyfriends. We had a really hard break-up and he kinda lost it. Stalked me for almost a year, the scariest moment was during the October afterwards. I was working at Shipwreck, a haunted house thing on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. It was my first year, and I was getting rides from my friends because I didn't drive back then. My folks went out of town one weekend for a family thing, and he found out about it. He wanted to hang out after I got off work (at 1am), even spending the night. I said no, he said think about it. He paged me (yes, I had a pager back then) on the way home, I called and said to stay away. He said he was walking over. It was pouring down rain, huge storm. My friends offered to stay and stand guard, but I declined. I went inside, showered in the dark to get the make-up off and hid in my room with all the doors and windows locked. I was terrified of turning a light on in case he knew I was home. Apparently he knocked at my door for an hour, but I had fallen asleep from exhaustion before he got there.

That was almost seven years ago. It took a long time, but he eventually came to his senses and we have managed to repair our friendship, something that I honestly did not think would ever happen.

Elara : WOW, that's some crazy stuff. I don't think I could ever be friends with someone who stalked me. I have major trust issues. If people get weird on me, I tend to just cut all ties with them. I hope he never does that to you again. I would've freaked out.

SunflowerGaming : Oh there is no chance of it happening again. But no, we have actually got a pretty good friendship now, though it took my moving to the other side of the country to really get it going. We talk online and on the phone a lot, and I am helping him deal with a breakup since I went through something similar in my last relationship. I honestly never thought we would reach this point, but here we are and I am glad. I hate losing friends or people I cared about for any reason unless I have to, and that I could save this friendship is like a little triumph that shows anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

I don't know if it can be considered being "stalked" at my young age, but... uh, I guess. When I was 5 there was this girl named Suzanna. One time she randomly walked up to me before she even knew who I was and kissed me. She got weirder, saying things like "Hey sexy babe." and trying to kiss me ALL the time.

Most recently, there was this girl at my school named Sydney. She seemed cool, and she was kinda hot, so I started trying to hang out with her. And soon, I learned that she was, well... kinda crazy. She followed me around for the whole year, just blabbering on and on about some crazy bulls*** that nobody has any chance of ever understanding. And so, I got branded as a weirdo for even being seen with her. That was not a fun year. And about 2 weeks before she met me, she was a totally calm, cool, and collected person. Then, when she met me, she lost it or something. I don't know. I made her cry three times by simply rejecting her ill-spoken attempts at getting me to be her "boyfriend."

EDIT: Oh, there was someone else on the internet. It was actually like, a 40 year old scifi nerd who liked Tron, Star Wars, and Star Trek. He had like, a ton of medical problems so he got ticked easily, and I talked to him on a Tron forum and he like, totally went crazy calling me about every curse word in the book. Eventually, it was arguments between him and I that caused me to get banned from the website. I subsequently joined back under another name and tried to avoid him that time, but he caught on and tracked me down. He found my parents and told them that I was harrassing him and I got grounded from the internet for a few months.

I think I answered this already but I'm gonna go again. I am too uninteresting and normal to be stalked. I don't even know what stalking really is. If someone is paying attention to me or emailing me, I just remove them from my life. I don't worry about it.

I also don't associate with people who have stalking personalities. All my friends are pretty laid back and don't get obsessive. It's interesting that some people either attract those sorts of folks or think they attract those sorts of folks. It must be some sort of self-fulfilling prophesy.

Never stalked once. I don't mind it. I don't need attention anyway.

Gosh thta's some pretty creepy, and serious stuff. I have only has the misfortune of telling off a stalker of a friend of mine in high school. I have never been stalked since I kept myself uninteresting, and kinda of a loner.

UserMike : If you want to know what kind of life I had to live back then, watch that movie The Roommate. It's almost like that. Thankfully I didn't have the same ending, haha. And the irony is, her name is the same as the stalker chick on the film. Creepy.
