I voted for the 90s. Even though I was still too young to really enjoy most of the music, I have listened to albums from this decade to sort of reconnect with my childhood times. That being said, I have a love and respect for most decades (not really the 00s though). Björk is from the 90s (well, her masterpieces came out then though, she has released nothing less than great) so there.

Modern, absolutely. Where was all the sweet techno and speed metal in the 90s? There was good music in old decades, but I'm happy to say that I can still see most of my favourite bands live when they come to town, which a lot pf the old guard can't say.

I would say that the 70's and 90's are my two favorite decades for music.

In the 70's you had so much GREAT rock music coming out during that time that you really can't ignore it.

The 90's I would say were the best all around for music. You had some great alternative rock, memorable pop tunes, and you had the best rap music that was ever released. No matter what genre of music you like, a lot of your favorite songs probably were released in the 90s
