This is just awful, how could hotel staff, who's only job is to clean up the hotel rooms miss something like that. I think that this was just a lazy worker who didn't wan't to pick it up cause it's gross and left it there, and I am theroughly disgusted with this and hope that something is done, poor kid.

This is sad but here the strange part is today we learned about STD'S and it is strange for a condom to give oral herpes it's not unheard of. Plus what about the person who used it? The time and place is strange... Mabye some people from the staff?

If this is entirely true, I'm facepalming at everyone involved. The caretaker should have checked around since they had a child with them. The cleaning staff was obviously part of the problem, but the caretaker was just as much of the problem. Shouldn't we know to look around a hotel or motel room before getting settled in? It makes sense to me...

I'm sorry the child is stuck with the burden, but the child really should have been kept an eye on. If you are in the care of a curious child, shouldn't you kinda be cautious? The caretaker was irresponsible. I would put more blame on them than the staff, actually. What you care for is your burden as well. Don't take it lightly.

Yeah I've been to 4 different sites that all say that herpes cannot survive more than 30 seconds to 2 minutes outside the body. So this boy has either been kissing someone who has herpes and doesn't know it, or there's some pervert with herpes taking advantage of the kid.

This is absolutly heartbraking to hear. To think that this kid will have to deal with and STD for the rest of his life, Because of some disgusting people. This article honestly makes me sick to my stomach. This kid will never get a kiss without passing herpes...... Thats terrible. The hotel wont take any responsibility for this incident, They will deny deny deny untill finally theres enough proof to get them.(which I already have). I think if it came down to a lawsuit, the hotel could win for two reasons. First, they have better lawyers. Second, the holes in Jones' story could be easily exploited. What a world we live in.
