i used to like setting pieces of newspaper on fire and then spraying them with the shower hose. I found that entertaining until i almost started a fire. i never did this ever since.

I have a morbid fascination with destroying things, and setting them on fire is one of my favorite methods. Fire causes so many interesting changes in things. It boils liquids and fluids, it chars paper and melts steel, it cooks eggs to perfection while simultaneously destroying them.

Yeah, I'm kinda a pyromaniac. I've made Molotov cocktails before, and I've threw it. It was pretty awesome! (only some leaves burned, so don't worry.)

When I was younger I was a major arsonist. I set a dog house on fire, mixed chemicals together to see how they burn and I even set a field on fire next to a huge oil tank......smart right? Now that I'm older though I have a little more respect for fire and don't so much play with it anymore.

On a side note, I got my best friend into fire starting and one day he was playing with matches, well he wasn't aware that he was sitting on a gas can and it went up in flames with him sitting on it. The can was pretty much empty but there was enough to start his pants on fire which gave him third degree burns from the knees down. They had to skin graft from his thighs just to get him to heal. I felt kinda bad. Were still best friends though.

I do like fire. I have experimented with fire in chem labs quite a bit. Things ranging from potassium, alcoholic gas, and even making fire tornadoes. I like dipping my hand in in an alcohol/water solution and lighting it (as long as you move your hand, it won't burn you). To see the flames better, I like to add electrolytes (salts) in the solution. It is pretty fun.

Oh I remember the days of summer when I was a kid~  Roasting june bugs on my dad's bbq, making my own sparklers with burning sticks in the bbq so I could do light shows with them at night.  Then in the hot sun I would use magnifying glass to set bugs and plants on fire~  Yes I was disturbed as a child, and still am...  Funny thing my folks never knew~
