I personally think that it was good, but not that great. I like the fact that you can choose from Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad to play as in the game, but it didn't have that "Super Mario" feel.

I completely agree with you hydroblue777. The game wasn't bad but it still wasn't as great or as famous as the Mario Bros. before it. I did like how you can choose your own character but like you said it didn;t have that original Super Mario feel.

It was a great game but it got a bad rap because of 2 things.

1. It was very different from the first Mario game.
2. It was a gameplay (and several characters) copy of some Japanese game called DokiDoki Panic.

While not my favorite Mario game (Which goes to SMB3 or SMW), it didn't deserve all the bashing it got.

I totally enjoyed mario bros 2, yall are right when u say it didn't have that "Mario" feel to it, but it still provided me and my buddies with hours of gotta get to the next level and beat the game time though.
