I've never been stung by a jellyfish but I stepped on a starfish. It friggin hurt. But I've only ever been to the ocean once. The closest thing to a beach in Kentucky is Rough River and the Ohio River.

ive been stung many times by jelly fish and the redder they are generally the more painful is the sting and i touched some decently pink one that felt about the same as me sticking a knife into a power outlet

Though I've never been stung, my father has been, way early in his life. As the result, he gets physically ill whenever he eats seafood. Can't stand the thought of it. Weird eh?

I've been to beaches in California and I've been to beaches in Mexico.
I've never seen any in California.
But when I go to mexico I see the blue blobs on the shore.
I've always been afraid to go in the water after seeing those on the shore.
Specially few days after it rains, they show up alot.
And sometimes they'll hide under the sand but I've never seen them in the water.

Once my cousin stepped on a really big one and her foot swelled up.

noelia : Ouch! I could imagine it to be painful! The tentacles are as long as an average child. thankfully no i haven't been stung by a jellyfish or plan to...that's probably because I barely go in the beach water due to the filth. The beaches here in New york are horrid. My feet are as far as it goes in the water.

I'm not a great sprinter, but I can sprint when I need to. I know how to get out of rip currents and I don't worry myself over what could be swimming below me. I don't let my guard down too much, but I relax enough to enjoy the day.
