I'd probably rather neither. But if I had to choose it would be animals by far. I just don't get any satisfaction from seeing a plant grow. The only thing wrong with animals is the cost and time.

I love taking care of my dogs. If I had to pick between giving my dog some food that he doesn't desperately need or watering a plant that is wilted, I would still pick my dog. I also saved a turtle once. It was in an empty baseball field and covered in dirt. I brought it back towards the parking lot and washed it off in a puddle. Turns out it was actually alive. My Dad thought it might be a very young snapping turtle so we released it into a local pond.

I'd like to take care of plants but unfortunately I don't.

I do have 2 schnauzers named Buddy and Holly. I've had several animals growing up...rabbits, goldfish, more dogs. I love my dogs so I take extra good care of them by taking them out more, feeding them the most expensive dog food so they feel as special as they're treated.
