I gotta say Palmer from FF7.

I just recently played through FF7 again and had the battle speed Max and the ATB set to Active, and I also didn't stop to grind except to get 30,000 Gil in Corel Prison so I could by the Gold Ticket, and I laid him to waste. The game never takes Palmer seriously and when you fight him you can't take him seriously either. He even gets hit by a truck in Cid's Backyard somehow. I appreciate comedy bits in games as much as the next guy, but having him as a boss battle was wholly unnecessary. If he had some sort of joke music accompanying him with battle I could let it go easier.

Zorn and Thorn from Final Fantasy 9. When you first fight them all you have to do is make sure to keep hitting them and they can't even hurt you. Then when you fight them as the fused monster they are so pathetically weak that it made me want to cry. They were nothing but an unnecessary nuisance.

Artal theres a few like that. Bahamut can one-shot you if the Flare connects. The Demon Wall when getting the last Dark Crystal can also one-shot people when close enough. Then there is Odin who can wipe out your whole team in like a few minutes.

As for me, the most pathetic boss is a mix between Sin, in FFX. The one where he has the giant fin and sends those 3 shell things to attack. its basically a free exp thing and its quite annoying. The other one is the Mime in FFV Advance. All you do is sit there and wait for it to go away. Its pretty pathetic and a waste of time.

I wouldn't say that's what makes it dumb. You can use Yojimbo on any enemy. Penance takes quite a while to defeat without using that summon. IF it actually works.

There's the first Shademan fight from Megaman Battle Network 4. He takes one hit, and he's down and out. The problem is, it's not exactly a "lame" fight, because you end up having to use a DarkChip to beat him. Just the beginning of one of many problems for Megaman.
