Well looking at the Supreme Court hearing McGwire it really looks like he was using steroids. He was asked if he thought steroids were considered cheating and he said it wasn't for him to decide. He was later basically asked if he used steroids (just in a roundabout way) and he said that he wasn't there to focus on the past or the negative he was there to focus on now and the future. So McGwire looks REALLY suspicious.

It was leaked that Bonds supposedly admitted he unknowingly used steroids in a Grand Jury Testamony. And his ex-mistress said that he had told her he had used them. So that one is really tough to tell whether he did or not.

Okay, back to the original topic...

It's not always a hate crime when a minority is killed. A "hate crime" is a crime commited against a person because of something about them (race, religion, sexuality, etc), white people have had hate crimes commited on them. As for genocide, genocide is, by definition, the killing off (or attempt of killing off) a people (which can be divided again by race, religion, sexuality, etc).

Now, here is my little weird things of note, brought to my attention by Marilyn Manson:

"The death of one is a tragedy, the death of millions is just a statistic"

"If you die when there's no one watching, then your ratings drop and you're forgotten... but if they kill you on your TV your a martyr and a lamb of God."

To give example of the second one, take two people who are practically the same. Both are hit by a driver of a car being chased by the police and they are killed, the difference is that Mr. Smith was hit before the news started covering the story and Mr. Jones was hit while the camera was rolling... who gets more attention? People care more about the one being hit on TV than the other one.
