Of the two, I liked FFI better. FFII had all of the side characters dying, and I wasn't too thrilled with the leveling - but more than that, I liked the challenge of running through FFI with different classes. All White Mage is one heck of a trick to pull off.

FF 1 has to be the best of all time because it started it all if not for that then we wouldnt be looking at ff14 which in my opinon is gonna be fail they sold out and trying to make it to much like WoW which is the most worthless mmo ever made but back on point the only game ive liked better than FF1 that is not a final fantasy game is dragon warrior lets all just go old school ftw

alexanyways : me too. I think final fantasy 1 is way better...the best of mine is chosing black mage, fighter, thief, and red mage. (well to tell the truth I pick those because for funny I saw a flash movie called "8-bit theater". and its awesome!)
