April Fools never disappoints. It was a pain to try and read posts in certain pages, but going back to medieval language was interesting (at least for someone who doesn't know what medieval English actually sounds like).

The thing about the titles is absolutely hilarious. Royal Keeper of Buzzing Bees, Catapult Operator Extraordinaire, Beachside Banqueter of the Heavens... Gave me tons of ideas for titles if I ever get into roleplaying xD

Davideo7 : I completely missed that you did a list of all of them I'm really glad you did cause I was worried that they would be lost to time but it's good I can come and see them again anytime I wanna laugh at the great usernames and titles.

EX Palen : It was hard to understand, both because it's an old way of talking, and because I had troubles finding good translations so I used multiple sources and those sources had different opinions and therefore the rendered messages didn't always seem to make the most sense.

However, I will share with everyone some of my own translations that are worth sharing. 100s of years ago, they didn't have terms for some things that we have now days, so it's all about being creative and figuring out what they would have called these things (that doesn't apply for all of these).

Medieval language is not that hard to understand, as long as it's your mother language. In my case, medieval English is an absolute unknown so I was totally lost at trying to figure out what you guys were talking about xD

Same happens with pirate jargon, for example. It already sounds strange to English-speakers, so imagine to foreigners like me. I tried watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies in original audio and it was pure chaos lol

But yeah, back then there already existed tons of dialects and ways of speaking just like nowadays, and there weren't any real conventions as to how to properly speak that language, so it's very hard to get an accurate depiction. Still, it's a nice touch to discover new ways of talking, it adds more spice to your vocabulary and that's always welcome.
