I'm not really sure, I don't really go to many stores. I do my grocery shopping at Walmart, but other than that I don't buy many things. If I do, I either buy online or go to a store that has it specifically to purchase that thing. I almost never go to a store without a clear idea of exactly why I am going there and what I am buying.

As a kid, my favorite store was FAO Schwarz, a massive toy store in New York City. It closed a few years back, however. They did re-open it in a new location, but it's nowhere near as cool as it used to be.

What's the hardest you've laughed in recent memory? Would we weirdos at Vizzed find it funny as well?

A few weeks ago my wife and I laughed really hard while watching some clips from the YouTube channel Recess Therapy. There were a few moments where the kids said the most unexpected things and we were nearly brought to tears from laughing so hard. The clip with Miles telling Olivia Rodrigo "the only people you can't marry are your cousins" and the one with the kid talking about "midnight meat" made us laugh the hardest.

No idea if others would find it funny as well; it probably depends on your opinion of / experience with kids. My wife and I have both worked with children, so we were able to kind of relate a bit to how funny they can be (even if they aren't trying to be funny).

Maybe! I'm really busy right now, but I'm sure there will be a day at some point that will work. The biggest obstacle I think is that weekends are my busiest days, whereas for most people those are the days that they are off of work. I think the last one was on a holiday (Good Friday I think?) so maybe we can find another day like that that will work. I had a lot of fun last time, so I would definitely like to do it again at some point.

I thought of this question right after I saw you logged on so I couldn't edit it in earlier and I feel bad asking a 2nd question the same day but I'm worried I'll forget to ask but I'm pretty sure I've seen you say you really love Breath of the Wild so I was curious what do you think of Tears of the Kingdom?

Admittedly, I haven't finished Tears of the Kingdom. I started playing it when it came out, got busy, and never went back to it. I enjoyed it, though, and I am sure I will go back to it eventually.
SonicOlmstead :

Furret : Probably the Fukuisaurus, because the first time I read its name, I read it as Fuk-u-asaurus instead of Fukui-saurus (named after the city Fukui in Japan).

Dauntez : Either 2013 or 2014. I was only here for the second half of 2013, though.

Probably not, but it depends on how busy I am.
Dauntez :

I don't think so. I like to try new things, but I don't think I would enjoy falling large distances lol. I don't even really like big drops on roller coasters, and I imagine skydiving and bungee jumping would be that same feeling but amplified.

Probably the Red Jersey. Writing a review guarantees it most days, but there are only so many games that I've played. If I don't have a game to review, it's a bit harder. Green is the easiest because of Admin privilege, and Blue and Yellow are both pretty straightforward in terms of what you need to do to win them.

I wish I knew about it back then, because I definitely would've made the extra 34 posts if I had known. At this point, though I don't see myself ever averaging over 60 posts per day for an entire month. I wouldn't say that I'm content with second place; I wish I had the record, but I have no plans to actually do anything about it lol.
Furret :

Dauntez : I started my first teaching job in January 2021, so 5 years. That being said, I've switched jobs a few times since then, and not all of the jobs I had during that time period were teaching jobs. I've been with my current company for 3.5 years.

That's valid.

How do you feel about having kids? Is that something you wish for your future, now that we are getting up there in age?

Definitely having kids. Would've had one already, but I want to wait for our job/financial situation to stabilize a bit. I'm not sure if I want to stay with my current job long-term, and my wife has been moving up at Disney. She's projecting to make the jump up to a "leader" position in the next few years. I'm thinking about leaving my job and buying a daycare, but I would likely need to save up a bit more money for the down payment to buy it, especially if I am buying the property too (which I would definitely want to do rather than renting the space). Within the next year or two we'll probably have a better idea of what the future will look like.

We'll likely have one kid the "traditional" way, but we are definitely going to adopt at least one kid as well. Adoption should be way more common and way more normalized than it is. There's this weird stigma about raising "other people's kids," and this notion that you're getting "damaged goods" when you adopt, which I find ridiculous. As someone who has worked in education and childcare since I was 17, I can say for a fact that every child is worth fighting for, and every child has the capability to do great this and to be a great person, especially if the adults in their lives (in this case, the adoptive parents) foster their growth. And as someone who is staunchly pro-life, I see adoption as one of the best things that I can do at an individual level to help. If more children get adopted into safe and loving families, maybe more people that do not feel that they can raise a child will consider putting their child up for adoption, rather than aborting their child.
