Well, bluntly put, you either get buried in a box or get burned into smoldering ashes when you die...
But all jokes aside, people tell us so many things like you just go to heaven or hell, or you wait on Earth until the big day, or you wander the Earth forever, or nothing happens, you die and you just don't exist anymore. It really is hard to know what will happen and I don't believe anyone has a positive answer. I am a Catholic but I am open to everything and will accept what everyone believes. I don't have a definite belief myself though. All I know is that I believe in God and what even he/she planned for us after death is gonna happen and he/she never left us an instruction manual or anything so nobody 100% has the right answer. People are just meant to live their lives until they cross the finish line, then they will have their answers.

It depends on the persons heart. Whether they are good or bad. Obviously, if they are good people with kind intentions...they go to the Kingdom of Heaven. As for those who are evil hearted and wicked...well we all know where they go. Straight to the fiery pits of hell and darkness where it is said they will rot for eternity to the sounds of gnawing teeth.

I think that once you die, you become a ghost. Then, you can either go towards the light, or stay on earth. If there is something you have not accomplished yet, you will stay until you see it is done. Then, you go towards the light. Finally, God will decide whether you belong in heaven or in hell. I also think that if you were a baby or something, god will give you another chance, and by that I mean making you born again to live your life.

Maybe it's not a physical rising of the human form, but a rising of the spirit to be excepted into Heaven. The rightous spirits will go above, dirty evil unrightous, down below.

I honestly don't know, but what I do know is that God will judge us no matter what we do, and he will decide whether or not we will enter heaven. But if we've already asked God for forgiveness then what have we to worry about, nothing, we'll be right in God's eyes and our imperfect record will be replaced with Jesus's perfect record, he did that when he died for us. Where we go is something we all wonder about, but few have the heart to change, that's what is a challenge for Christians.

I remember having a music teacher. He was overweight and always seemed to be tired and sweaty. He didn't make it to class for a few weeks. We later found out (from him) that his heart stopped for a little while and he was brought back. I remember asking him "Did you see heaven?" He said no; he saw nothing. I changed a little that day. I would like there to be pearly gates and such, but, I don't know. Nothingness seems more logical.

Nothing, the thing that allows us to think is our brain, once our brain stops to function we are as conscious as a rock, and so our bodies will rot and we won´t even be aware of it, heck we won´t be aware of anything, no brain, no thoughts, no awareness.

So if by "we" you mean our conscience the answer is that it just disappears, never to return or to go anywhere.

And if by "we" you mean the body, well it will go where ever it is carried, and if no one moves it to burn it or something it will just rot and disintegrate with the bones going last but they will also go.

I think that when you die you enter a state of great euphoria, and your soul/spirit escapes and you are free from any harm forever. I wouldn't know what else to believe.
