There are many great games that are going to be coming out in 2022 for nearly every system. Are there any that you are really excited for?

What are some that you're excited for?

I have two games I'm really following to see when do they get a release date announced, which I hope it's somewhere in 2021 for both.

One is New Pokemon Snap, for the Switch. I totally want to play this long awaited sequel, and information about it is still quite scarce. I'm expecting some info to be leaked soon, or at most in that fabled date in late February where the 25th anniversary of the franchise will be celebrated.

The other one is King of Fighters XV. A gameplay reveal is scheduled for January 7th, which will be the first look at this game. We've just recently know that via a youtube video in the official SNK account, so the hype for the game is increasing more than ever.

I don't think there aren't many other games that will catch my attention. Hopefully 2021 surprises me with unexpected releases like we had with NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered.

zanderlex : I might get Neptunia Virtual Stars when it's released in America and Europe next year...yeah, for now, I'm not interested in other games, I guess...

I wanted to make this post a few days ago but I wasn't really sure what games to talk about at first but after thinking about it more I think I've remembered some games. Until reading Palen's post I forgot all about the New Pokemon Snap game which is pretty hype that it's finally happening after all this time, I imagine my mom is gonna wanna steal my switch to play it as much as she loved the original.

Then you have Persona 5 Strikers which a sequel to my favorite game of all time? Of course I'm hyped as can be for this I've avoided spoilers pretty well so far as well except for the music because I couldn't resist.

I'm excited for Super Mario 3D World Deluxe if the online multiplayer is done where it's playable it'll be complete chaos and I'll love every second of it.

I'm not sure if Breath of the Wild 2 was coming out next year but if it is I'm really curious to see how they follow up one of the most popular Zelda games of all time.

There's probably a lot more that I've completely forgotten about but time will tell.

Pokémon Snap on Switch I guess, that or Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV Switch. One is a sequel I've looked forward to for years, and the other is a port I've wanted for a long time.

Clearly fifa 22 since it’s a tradition to buy the game, get mad and break controllers, and buy again.

In all honestly after selling my switch I don’t even know what games are confirmed to be out in 2021 on other consoles but pretty optimistic to see with the new gens graphics

The game I am excited for is Hitman 3. which comes out on January 20th of next year. it is supposed to be final installment in the World Of Assassinations trilogy/Arc. and the developers said it would be more serious and darker than all of the other previous installments in the trilogy/arc.

Persona 5 Strikers and Monster Hunter Rise are the 2 that I know for a fact are coming out next year that I want the most.

Another game I'm excited for that I fully expect to come out next year given that it'll be the franchise's 30th anniversary is Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. I'll be shocked if it's not a holiday 2021 game.

gamerforlifeforever : I already pre-ordered Persona 5 Strikers yesterday from Best Buy so I could get all the bonus stuff, I'm super excited.

There's one other game I forgot to mention in my previous post as of now. That game is Cris Tales.

I want to add to my former post in here. I also want to pre-order Disgaea 6, but it will be a large sum of money. Maybe if we get more stimulus? I'm kind of worried that this year won't have much in the way of 1st party releases, I don't see much to be excited about so far.

It would be nice to see Kingdom Hearts come over.

pennylessz : That's one of the 12 JRPG'S that I'm excited for this year and I hope that it gets an international eshop preorder discount like Persona 5 Strikers does so that I can pre order it for $40

I would probably say Persona 5 strikers, the new pokemon snap, the remastered Nier;replicant, and nier reincarnation hopefully the global releases this year I will still look forward to seeing more of the game play and story from it and maybe we will even be able to see some of the characters we grew to love in the previous games.

Right now the games that I am most excited in are Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, Poison Control, Ys IV, Monster Hunter Rise, Disgaea 6, Story of Seasons, Monster Hunter Stories 2, Horizon, and Digimon Survive (If it does get released)

Personally, I'm looking forward to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (it personally offends me that no one has said that so far), Breath of The Wild 2 if it comes out this year (I still gotta play the first one), and the new Pokemon Sinnoh games. IMO, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl look adorable, and Legends looks awesome. It looks like the open world Pokemon game that we've been waiting for!

OH, YEAH, Skyward Sword for Switch is gonna be a thing, too! Also, Gotham Knights. It looks cool, but I need to see a bittt more before I can say "I'm looking forward to it".

zanderlex : I'm super excited for the release of the Kingdom Hearts series on the PC. It'll be released on the Epic Games store, so it'll be interesting for sure to see what internet does with modding the games. Hoo boy, am I exited. lol

Anyway, in the end, I won't buy Neptunia Virtual Stars because of the lack of English voices, I'm a person of ''no dub no buy'' every once in a while, that said, my most anticipated game right now is Blue Reflection: Second Light which will be released in Japan in October this year, at worst, the game will be released during early 2022 in the west, but yeah, a new Blue Reflection game for consoles and PC is coming and the game will be released soon...I can't wait...

I know Bravely Default II has been released, at least.. how has that gone for you? I haven't really kept track of what's upcoming for awhile now but my brother used to throw money rather more freely than he ought on Kickstarter and I was sort of looking forward to seeing how Cyber Knights would turn out...

From a March 2021 they've pushed to Q1 2023, so nothing to report on that.

It seems like such a large portion of the biggest games of 2021 are all concentrated into the final couple months of the year, either by design or by delay. Many of the games that I was really excited for came out already but now there's just as many remaining as there was when the year began.

Next month is going to be a big month for me because we're going to get Shin Megami Tensei V and Pokemon BDSP. plus there's going to be Danganronpa Decadence and The Caligula Effect 2, and I'm kind of excited for the Demon Slayer game.
