A last hour application comes from the scorching heat of the Mediterranean coast in northeastern Spain, in the form of yours truly.
It's been almost six years since I was promoted to Site Staff, and I've had a line over my username ever since. Said line has changed twice between dotted and solid until last November, when I was bestowed the power of coffee due to my contributions over the years.
I've tried my best to fulfill my new duties in this position, and only the posting activity in recent months leaves a bad taste on my mouth. Sure, life in general hasn’t been what we’d like it to be, but that’s no excuse for me. I want to find more activity in me, not only regarding my roles but also regarding posting and maybe stepping up a bit in Discord as well. The many returning members as of late have shown me I need to blend a bit more with the community and not be known solely for being a top contributor.
Said increase in activity will happen whether or not I’m promoted. The new duties as admin would totally help as a boost until I get familiar with them, but it’s not necessary for that increase to happen. As for my staff roles, I think I can maintain them if I’m promoted, but I will keep a close eye to see if they’re weighing me down on my other duties. If any of my fellow staff members, no matter their rank, notices this before I do, I’m all open to hear it just like I’m open to any kind of feedback relating my duties.
I wish all other applicants the best of luck!
