Simple question, do you buy foreign games? WHether it's a physical import of a game from Japan or you have foreign eshop/PSN accounts?

I recently discovered the awesomeness of foreign shopping because of how awesome some of the deals are for the eshop in places like Japan and Mexico.

I actually have an iTunes account for japanese games, however I forgot the answers to my own security questions, so I can't spend my yen on anything. I can't even find a way to reset the answers, so I can only really download free games like Mini 4WD Hyperspeed Grand Prix.

Importing can be very good in the right circumstances. Such as that it can save you a lot of money, I saw the japanese version of Chrono Trigger for $5 once. So if you really want a game and don't mind being unable to read the thing, then go for it. It's even better if you can read japanese.

I have a few foreign games on my phone from the Japanese and Singapore App Store (gacha games) but in terms of actual console games, nah. I used to have a foreign PSN account for stuff like that but it's been several years now. A Switch Japanese account is pretty useful if you're into that stuff; they have a lot of deals and demos.

Ever since I posted this I went a little crazy on buying foreign games from the Argentina and Mexico eshops. Many Switch games are so much cheaper in Argentina and nearly all games in Mexico are like 10-15% cheaper, so I've been buying a few there each month.

No I can say with 99% certainty that I've never bought a foreign game however I have downloaded a foreign demo before when I wanted to try Persona 5 Strikers which was interesting not being able to read the controls or anything.
