First of all, Vizzed has its problems, but there are still a good many decent Retro Games to play in the RGR with the RetroArch emulators. That's what I need to get back to doing with this site. I've been dealing with a lot in my life over the past several years, and it's getting worse. I was reading some of the responses to a previous thread I made, and it gave me a little insight into things.

Like I've done in the past, I've used this site for the wrong reasons. I feel like I am just venting because of all the stress I'm dealing with. I need to get away from it all and have something else to live for. I need other interests and other things to help me escape from this hell that is my life. Maybe, that will help me to be more successful and find better work.

My last job meant a lot to me and having to give up on that made me really depressed. I need to quit using Vizzed to talk about that because people are tired of hearing it. Discord feels pointless because no one uses it. Most people are just here for the games, and I can't blame them. Although, I would like to see it be more than that.

I have read some other threads, and that was pretty interesting. It appears I'm not the only one with problems. Maybe, I'm a better listener, and feel better offering help to others. Still, I think wallowing around in this is making it worse. You do your best and quit listening to the negativity. It's my environment not me, and I don't feel like it's Vizzed either.

I have to keep that out of my life but Vizzed stays. As long as it is still up and running. It does seem to be more stable right now. I do miss the good old days. The RGR used to be my thing back in 2014 and 2015. I'd like to watch some of those old gameplay videos on YouTube from back then. I'm a big Mario and Sonic fan. It's nice to see the Sonic games are still around and playable.

luigi25 : Sure, I know the entire community of Vizzed is turning into a giant dumpster-fire, well, at least how my buddy put it (he refuses to join Vizzed because it's a giant dumpster-fire).

Sure, I know Vizzed has it's flaws, but at the same time, it's still a pretty decent community none the less, and sure, they have been a ton of questionable actions that has been going on as of late on this website (although that might just be me though), but personally, whatever you decided to do, that is perfectly fine.

I also use Vizzed as my venting place, just that I try to use off-topic threads rather than make new threads because I'm not looking for replies but rather to let something off my chest.

I honestly see no problem with your threads. I don't reply to them because I have nothing to say and you're not looking for compassion either. But I agree that you probably need to better condense your stress and find other interests that can help you get the trash out of your head (figuratively speaking, of course).

And yes, you're not the only one with problems. Just that many people don't have the strength or whatever you want to call it to go out on the open and accept their harsh reality. If you feel helping others is fulfilling for you, then keep doing it, but if you think it's harmful for your well-being then by all means stop it.

Keep making those threads if you have to blow some steam off, they're not against the rules. And always pursue a happier life, no matter what you have to leave behind, even if it's this site. After all, many of us have taken our breaks from this place and not few have come back stronger than before.

Your threads aren't really a problem, as long as it isn't breaking any rules and is just a letting off some steam, I don't see anything wrong with it. The Discord is really only used by people who are active, we have most of the active people there. Reason I recommended it to you earlier is not only would it be easier than using mobile vizzed which is an embodiment in unintuitive design, we also have a venting channel in said discord.

I used to use Vizzed to vent kinda often, but as EX Palen talked about, I usually use off-topic threads now for that kind of thing. But yeah, there's nothing wrong with addressing problems in life as long as you don't let your problems constantly control the way you see your life.
