Most of the game files of the Retro Game Room are stored on a separate server. That server's SSL certificate expired a few days which resulted into users getting warnings when playing games and games just not loading at all. This has been fixed.

The site itself recently had its SSL certificate expire (as seen here) and I should have thought to fix the file server while I was at it. At least it's all fixed now though and wont have to worry about it for another year. Next time I hope to be on top of these things better.

Davideo7 : Thank you David for fixing the RGR games while there are still some games that don,t load such as the msx and c64 games it,s great to see the others are working again since you are always very busy on the site and probably have a lot on your mind I can understand how you forgot to fix the file server after the SSL certificate expired it,s nice to see that the games are able to load again

Good to see another bug fixed on the site. I haven't played any RGR games recently, so I didn't notice the error though.

On a similar note, is expired SSL certificates also a cause for an error message on the screenshot page in Firefox's console? This is just me guessing, but here's something I noticed about Vizzed.com recently:

Using Firefox version 69.0.1 (64-bit), I can navigate to any RGR game where I've uploaded screenshots, (The Smurfs' Nightmare for example) I click on "Edit screenshot" on one of my pictures, and on the screenshot editing page, THIS error appears in Firefox's error console. The preceding link is a screenshot to the error message I receive in Firefox's console. I am unsure why the page is declared as "mixed/insecure content", but I do know that modern browsers don't like it when a website's SSL certificate is expired, like with what what happened recently with the RGR. Again, just taking a guess here.

I realize that my past couple posts have all been related to screenshot editing... Oops. I still hope you might find this post useful

In response to no 8120's post above, It's true that some MSX and C64 games don't work, but others work fine. I am not sure why, but if I had to guess, it could have something to do with the MESS emulator.
