So some people play Minecraft for the creative building part, while others enjoy the survival element and try to beat the ender dragon without dying.

Yet others, probably like myself (although I do like survival), we like to play various mini-games to keep us entertained with the game.

They've been around for ages now, and especially with command blocks being in the game the possibilities for mini-games is almost endless.

If I had to name my own personal favorites they would probably all stem from my experiences playing them with friends and having a good time.

To name a few, I love Survival Games for a combat mini-game, although I'm not as serious about it as some other people. Heck, I thought I was pretty good at PvP until I met some of the server's bests. Really puts you in your place haha.

Another one I enjoy is Bridges, because it's probably the most relaxing mini-game in my opinion. There's a preparation round that lasts several minutes where you can just mine ores and talk and laugh with friends. After that the bridges between the islands spawn in and you can commence attacking the opposite teams, though it's just the basic combat, aka just sword vs. sword, instead of all the other PvP tricks people use.

I've recently also come to really enjoy Minecraft Murder Mystery, due to playing it with some friends and us always accusing us of being the murderer, often leading to one of us betraying the other or us all getting killed by the real murderer as we were squabbling.

I also really enjoy Turf Wars, due to the combat being purely Bow and Arrow based, which is definitely my forté when it comes to PvP. I think it's also my best game when it comes to statistics haha, KDR is quite high.

There's probably more but those 4 came to mind instantly.

What are some of your favorite mini-games? The more classic ones like Hunger Games and Spleef, or some newer ones?

I was looking for this post the one day and then I just remembered I moved it here a few months ago so whoops.

I gotta start with the mini-game that got me addicted to pvp in the first place sky wars, I love starting with the chests on your island and then picking to wait it out for a while on your island or rushing straight to the middle of the map. I've just had so many memories in sky wars like for example one time it came down to me and this other guy and we ran at each other and hit each other off and both fell but he fell off ever so slightly quicker then me so he died first and I won the game.

I also love Survival Games even tho as time passes on I've been on a decline, but honestly now that I don't have my mind set on winning every game it's a lot more enjoyable I started playing with a kit that gives you tons of tnt to mess with and just killing players by forcing them into it is amazing xD

I also gotta agree with Turf Wars, I mean whatever game can the two of us take on a competitive team by ourselves pretty much and win? Furret: It's funny tho I'm seen as really good at the game while Furret here is a lot more consistent at not dying but I get all the attention because I fight on the front lines and get more kills but I also die normally at least 10 more times a game.

Another one I highly enjoy is TNT Run or Runner where the basic idea is that you keep running without stopping and any blocks you run over disappear. I honestly consider it my best game which now that I think about there was a game that no longer exists that would honestly be my true best game.

There's no way I can end this thread without talking about MCL, MCL was a game where you had to protect 3 towers and the team that destroyed all the towers would win. You had to choose if you went hyper aggressive or mined iron ore on the surface leaving yourself and possibly the towers open to attack. The game also had wither skeletons that would spawn on 2 sides of the map for the teams to fight over after a set amount of time and if a team got all 3 skulls they needed they could summon the wither to come help them destroy towers. I love this game more than any of the games I mentioned before this I wish I would of got a chance to play the game with more of the friends I made after this game was removed, I loved the game so much I even tried to get it brought back but the server who owned it said they deleted the game code which to be honest I don't even fully believe because they kept the code to way older games so why would they delete a popular game like MCL's code? I just don't get it.

I love both Hunger Games and Spleef. I used to play them a lot back in the day and I loved watching Youtubers and streamers play. I don't really care much for new ones because for the last year I've only played on the Switch and before that I mostly just played single player on PC so didn't have that many chances to play mini games recently.

I love mystery murder, runner and draw my thing although I haven't really done them that much so since I am pretty lazy. XD
