There's actually another game franchise I was thinking about this morning on the ride to work, most of you might not have heard of it but there was a DOS game called Cross Country Canada but it was made before Nunavut was officially designated a Territory. I know it got a couple of more games in the franchise but considering the recent circumstances, and there are kids out there that would rather play video games than do remote learning I'm thinking this could be a great solution, because let's face it, we are living in a world where we could use Carmen Sandiego more than ever (even though the netflix series just wrapped, I'll do reviews for the PC games one of these days and hopefully by then we can add our gameplay videos again)

I want to see Legend of Legaia to come back to the consoles. It had great moves and excellent magic points. Anyone else love this series?

Also the Mario RPG series. I love Paper Mario and all, but, come on. Mario RPG was my child hood favorite in the Mario series.

Also the Chrono series. Travel to the past, or go into the fourth dimension. That would be sweet!

For sure. I want Mega Man X to come back (in its 2d format), I want Castlevania to get a better game in the 3d format (lords of shadow was only ok, but not the greatest), also where is Metroid Prime 4?

Oh man, the main two series I'd love to have come back are new Mega Man Battle Network games (even if it's a new spin-off like starforce was) and the Dragon Quest Monsters series.

I poured countless hours into the DQM games for DS, and unfortunately the third title is Japan-Only.
That being said though, I thought the aspect of monster synthesis is super duper cool! You can 'combine' monsters together and then teach the new one traits from their components. This allows you to have entirely specialized teams that know certain magic/spells/abilities even if it doesn't make a lot of sense. Even if the monsters generally have a 'stat growth' type, you aren't penalized too hard.

It's a bit funny most of the things I want to come back are spin-offs, but I feel like the experimentation with other genres and ideas is what made them more fun and interesting.

I'd love to see some new Golden Sun games being made, especially since I've started getting into JRPGS a lot more recently. I've played all three to some degree of completion and enjoyed them all, I think a new game would reenergize the series and open up a new storyline for the lore.

you know something I wish I brought up, if Street of Rage and Alex Kidd can make a comeback I want to see Road Rash make one too, but I want it to be in the same vein as Road Rash 1-3 the ones afterwards don't have any heart, plus I want the racer to be able to have their own weapon rather than just swipe it from another rasher, wait they should be able to buy their own weapons

I mean it may not suit many people but the NCAA football franchise should make a comeback even though their have been some complications between the ncaa and ea sports… tho I heard recently they’re bringing it back in 2023 though haven’t read up on that yet

becerra95 : Yep, they have a contract for four years and by the end of this year they have to decide whether or not they'll use real player in the games.

Those games coming back opens up the door for all the NCAA sports games to come back that were forced to close down. I wouldn't mind the March Madness games coming back.
