There's not another discussion thread that I saw (I looked for a 2018-19 thread, and I didn't see one), so I figured I would make this.

I'm surprised the Ravens made the playoffs to be honest. And then both Los Angeles teams made the playoffs, when LA didn't want either team when they first get that. It's so crazy, it's actually hilarious to me.

That being said, I'm watching the Colts-Texans game, and I had the Texans winning this in a close game. As of the end of the 3rd quarter ( Colts 21 - 0 Texans ), that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Local Mods : Could I possibly get a sticky?
Also, I think the 2017 Season thread could be unstickied and closed, too.

I'm mostly hoping for the Seahawks to win and then go all the way. If not, then I'll be cheering for an Eagles Patriots repeat.

dark mode : I don't see the Seahawks winning, at least at the beginning of the game. I had the Cowboys winning 27 - 17. Not so sure about that now.

Hopefully Allen Hurns isn't to terribly injured, and he'll be able to come back next year ready to go by the time mini camps kick off.

I'm not a huge fan of football, but I do know we've had some interesting games in the playoffs so far. I know the Cowboys won, which I'm sure my step-mom will be happy about, because she is a Cowboys fan. The Eagles also upset the Bears in a pretty crazy game earlier today.

If I had to pick a team to root for it would probably be the Saints because I like Drew Brees, although I'll be happy if anyone wins the Super Bowl other than the Patriots.

Freaking Lamar Jackson... I'm gonna take what I put on Facebook, place it ehre, and leave it at that.

" I tried to tell ya'll Lamar wasn't the QB for the Ravens, that he had no arm, and that he was going to fail.
He played nobody outside of Kansas City and LAC. Outside of the Raiders, no game was won by more than 10 (Chargers doesn't count because that was a DEF TD)

I can't wait for my team to suck for the next few years because all the fans who don't really understand football called for Joe Flacco's *butt*, and when they finally got it, started playing the race card. Now they see that Lamar can't throw worth a *darn*, and they change their tune.

*get's on my pedistal*

I'm disappointed in the Seahawks. I'm also disappointed in the Eagles for the game being so close.

At this point I still want to see Eagles vs Patriots again and id love to see the Eagles destroy the Cowboys if both teams advance.

I caught the last few seconds of the Bears vs Eagles game to see who would win. The Bears were in position to steal the game with a field goal attempt. They kick it.... the ball hits the post LOL. Sorry, but that was a funny way to end game and I don't think anyone was expecting it to happen.

I think I'd like to see Chiefs vs Rams in superbowl. It would be something different then the typical Patriots vs whoever.

This thread hasn’t got much love, but the first wildcard weekend really was exciting.

First off, I kind of expected the colts to beat the Texans, especially with how well the colts have been playing over the last 10 games, and with how the Texans had been struggling on both sides of the ball. What I’m scared about is that now Andrew Luck and the colts are coming into Arrowhead to take on a chiefs team with a pourous defense. I would love to be optimistic about this game, but all of the past points to a loss this Saturday. However, I have to keep telling myself, this Mahomes kid is different, and these trends of falling off in the playoffs will end this year. This team is special, and the defense has been able to get it done when they’re called to. I really hope they find something special this Saturday.

In other news, I’m extremely excited about Nick Foles and the Eagles. They beat the bears due to a “blocked” field goal on the last play of the game, after icing the kicker. This team has such luck on their side, and I attribute it all to the magic that Nick Foles brings to the team. He’s such a special player when he plays for the eagles, it’s kind of crazy. I hope they continue their success this weekend against the saints. If they could beat both the rams and the bears, I don’t see why they shouldn’t be able to beat the bears.

I also really hope the chargers pull off a win against New England. As a big patriot hater, I’d love for anyone to beat them, even a division rival. If I get a chiefs and chargers AFC championship game from arrowhead, I’d be excited for the payback my chiefs have in store for the chargers.

As always, strange to see a cowboys win in the playoffs, especially against a Seahawks team that actually looked real. However, that Cowboys defense is incredible and Zeke is a great back. Look out Rams.

And to what thing1 said about Lamar Jackson earlier, I’m not giving up on him. I think the Chargers just played him twice in three weeks, and they were able to come up with a way to defend against him, and the Ravens didn’t put together a game plan that would allow them to be successful in that game. I don’t think Jackson is going to be amazing, or even the next Cam, but I think he can be a quality started in the correct system for him.

I'm not at all surprised by the Colts beating the Texans this week. In fact, that was my upset special! I didn't think Houston would play so poorly though. I still don't know how the Colts ended up with nearly double the rushing yards that the Texans had.

The biggest surprise for me was the Eagles beating the Bears. They got lucky this week, but they'll need much more than luck to take down the Saints.

If I had to pick one upset for the Divisional round, I'm torn between saying the Cowboys over the Rams or if I should say the Chargers over the Patriots. The Rams and Cowboys both have great running games, but Dak's the better QB, and the Rams secondary is trash.

On the other hand, the Chargers are unbeaten on the road this season, and the Pats don't have a pass rush to speak of. Phillip Rivers is going to have a field day against the Pats defense. Despite Bill Belichick finding a way to get the best out of otherwise lackluster players, Brady simply doesn't have enough to work with around him to win in a shootout against a defense like the Chargers. I haven't felt this confident saying this in years, but there's no way the Patriots will make it to the Super Bowl this year.

Alright, I don't know too much about football so take all of this with a grain of salt, but I'm going to make some predictions for the games coming up this weekend.

Colts vs Chiefs
Chiefs win. Patrick Mahomes is too good, and even though the Chiefs faltered a little bit towards the end of the season, they'll be able to pull out the dub against the Colts.

Cowboys vs Rams
Rams destroy the Cowboys. Dak Prescott is not a good quarterback. With Todd Gurley coming back, should be an easy win for the Rams.

Chargers vs Patriots
Go Chargers. I definitely think the Patriots are going to win, but I'll be so happy if they don't. I'm sick of seeing them in the Super Bowl. Knock em out early this year.

Eagles vs Saints
The Saints are my pick to win it all this year. Nick Foles isn't going to work his magic again this season.

Oh, this should be fun if we're making picks. Let's do this.

Colts vs Chiefs
Chiefs win. I think it'll be close, and I even think the Colts could pull it out. But that season was too good to be a one and out. As long as the Defense shows up, I think they can hold out against Luck in a passing, high scoring showdown.

Cowboys vs Rams
Rams win. This one might be the hardest to choose. The Rams have gone ballistic this season. However, the Cowboys have Dak and Zeke and Amari... I want to say the Cowboys win, but for the same reason as the Chiefs, I just don't see the Rams being a 1 and done. A part of me wants to hope they are, but I don't think it's going to happen. Rams win in a showdown by 1 score.

Chargers vs Patriots
Patriots. I don't see Phillip Rivers getting to the promise land. And Brady is too much of a god in the post-season. Besides, the Chargers beat my Ravens (actually happy about, because I absolutely hate Lamar Jackson and his sorry excuse for an arm), so I want them to lose. It's tough, becuase they are playing the Patriots, the team I hate more than the Steelers. Patriots win, even with the crap defense and slowly detoriating offense in barely a 2 score game.

Eagles vs Saints
Eagles win. Tough choice, but all I got is one thing to say: BIG. DICK. NICK. https://youtu.be/xv-pBOJHbi8?t=293
1 score game, come back from behind win for Foles and the Eagles.

I used to really like the Cowboys when they first got Dak but now they haven't been playing as well as they should have been and today is a testimony for that. With only a couple minutes left they're done.

Tomorrow I'll be paying close attention to both the Eagles and the Patriots. I want both of them to win.

After #5 years, my chiefs have won a home game in the playoffs. This was the second playoff win of my lifetime, with the Houston game a couple years back being the only Other I remember.

I’ll be honest, I cried tears of joy when Darren Williams ran in that touchdown with less than two minutes to go. I finally realized they weren’t going to choke away this game like they did in 2013. Patrick Mahomes had finally made his statement win. The Chiefs were finally for real. Bob Sutton put together a good gameplan, and the defense looked good. I’m so happy to finally get that playoff win. After years of heartbreak, finally a win. Only two more to go.

As for the Cowboys, yeah, that’s what happens. They just aren’t a complete team on offense. The Rams defense showed up to play, plain and simple.

Here’s to hoping the Eagles win tomorrow and the Chargers can take down the Patriots.

Well, Saint Nick and the Eagles finally fell...as the win slipped through their hands. I really did think after the missed field goal that Foles would drive them down the field and win the game, and they got so close, but it just couldn’t happen. I’d love to see Foles back in Philidelphia with the Eagles next season, it’s where he plays best, but I understand they have Wentz and there will likely be a big trade market for a Foles. I just think he’s perfect for the system that is set up in Philly.

The Chargers game was about as disappointing as it comes. I freaking hate the patriots, and now they’re playing in the AFC Championship in KC. I do have faith in the chiefs to pull this one off and go to the Super Bowl, but if they don’t, I doubt I’ll watch the Super Bowl I’m just so tired of the patriots. They picked apart the chargers defense, it seemed like they didn’t even want to play today. Everyone will be hopping back on Brady and saying how amazing he is, and I really hope Pat Mahomes and the chiefs shut him up.

As for the NFC Championship, I’d love to see the Rams win, but I really don’t care. I hate Aquib Talib and Marcus Peters in the Rams secondary, but I also don’t like Marshawn Lattimore in the Saint Secondary. Either of these teams would end up in a scoring fest against fhe chiefs and hopefully both wouldn’t struggle much beating the patriots if that does happen.

I wished the bolts and eagles had pulled it off...but they didn’t and now it’s up to my Chiefs to show the world they’re for real.

well it looks like I managed to get all four of my predictions right. Unfortunately New England was able to beat the Chargers. I am happy that the Eagles choked to the Saints, though.

Here are my predictions for the next round:

Los Angeles Rams vs New Orleans Saints
This is a really even matchup in my opinion, and the Saints didn't look so hot at the beginning of their game today against the Eagles, but I'm still going to pick them to beat the Rams and move on to the Super Bowl. The Rams have a better running game, but the Saints passing game is better. Should be an interesting game, and I wouldn't be surprised either way. I hope whoever wins this game goes on to win the Super Bowl.

Kansas City Chiefs vs New England Patriots
Sorry Kansas City, but you're not winning this one. Mahomes is really good and I hope you do, Tom Brady and the Patriots are just so good in the playoffs. Please prove me wrong though. I would love it if you did.

Well, nice to see that my beloved Saints has won against the Eagles, now all we have left to go is the Rams, and then it's off to the Super Bowl. Personally, I think the NFC championship is going to be the one to watch because after all, both the Rams and the Saints are quite evenly matched, and it will come extremely close at the end of the game between the two teams.

As for the AFC Championship between the Chiefs and Patriots, Knowing on how much I like to see the Chiefs make it and it being between the Saints and the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but it'll probably be the same old same old, the Patriots will bribe the refs for another win again like normal, and go to the Super Bowl once again like normal.

Not sure if any of you have watch any of the previous NFL Championships, they have been a lot of controversy revolving both Championship games, especially the NFC Championship..

In the Saints-Rams NFC Championship game, at the end of the 4th Quarter, The Saint's Drew Brees threw a pass towards Tommylee Lewis for a Touchdown for the NFC Championship win and a trip to Super Bowl LIII, but the play was stopped by the Ram's Nickell Robey-Coleman, but the controversy revolved around that it was a clear-cut defensive pass interference against Robey-Coleman, and NEVER got the flag for it, even despite that they were TWO refs at the location, and due to the ref's laziness, it cost the Saints the Super Bowl.

After the game, and the Ram's cheating win, it has ticked off the entire city of New Orleans, and with me living in New Orleans, you can imagine all of the chaos that has sparked in the entire city, although it's not all too bad, because the entire city demands a rematch at the time of the penalty, and if not, my entire hometown of New Orleans could erupt into riots.

Personally, a lot of people, not just in New Orleans, but a lot of other places as well, they rather seen the Saints win, because they were the ones that put in the most amount of effort this entire NFL season, only to get screwed in the NFC Championship game.

It's not just the NFC Championship game, but also the AFC Championship game was also cabbagesed as well, it's the same old again, New England once again bribed the NFL, and let the refs to let the Patriots win the AFC Championship for a millionth time. Now Super Bowl LIII is going to be between the Rams and the Patriots, basically Cheaters vs Cheaters, which is going to be the worst Super Bowl in recorded history.

If the NFL hosts a 3rd Place game (NFC Championship loser vs AFC Championship loser), it would be between the Chiefs and the Saints, and that would of been the Real Super Bowl LIII.

I only caught bits and pieces of the championship games, but I know the officiating was apparently awful. Now the Patriots are going to the Super Bowl again. Fun. I hope the Rams destroy them. I'm expecting New England to win, but I'll definitely be rooting for the Rams, along with most of the world.

tgags123 : It can be quite rough on me, because how much the Rams cheated against the Saints, they don't deserve to win the Super Bowl, but at the same time, their opponents is the New England Patriots, and I absolutely hate the Patriots at the core. This might be the first Super Bowl that I'm boycotting, because I'm not watching a cheating team going against a cheating team.

The_IB122 : I mean poor officiating isn't really cheating. Nothing the Rams could do about it. Unless you're suggesting the Rams paid them off or something.

The IB122: The officiating all season sucked donkey butt.
tgags123 : All of America, except for 1 tiny pocket, will be rooting for a team that is an animal, and not based off of an American hero that people hate in the present day.

But I don't think the Rams cheated; the Saints just got some Karma for some no calls that they didn't get during the game.
The fact that the Patriots had the game handed to them, regardless of calls throughout the game, is complete crap.
Think about it: The Patriots = attention, which equals money. The Rams just got to LA, so they need money for a stadium... (horrible recreation of the conspiracy I saw somebody make a case for, but you get it).

I don't think the Rams paid the regs off, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots did.

I guess now that all the teams I've been rooting for are gone, I might as well root for the Patriots.

Also Romo did well.

So I tried to watch the Super Bowl this year and I think that was a mistake. I honestly can't figure out what the big deal is. That had to be one of the worst football games I've ever watched.

I'm not sure what you could change to make the Super Bowl actually worth watching but something needs to change. It hurt to watch that game and I know there are better games but the biggest game of the year being that bad is terrible for the NFL.

Welp it's official, the Saints were robbed of a Super Bowl victory. Had the refs called PI or hit to a defenseless receiver in the NFC Championship game, The Saints would be Super Bowl Champs.

All the Rams did today is prove they had no business being in the Super Bowl.

The only reason there was a touchdown in this game was because someone gave Tom Brady a caffeine shot in the 4th quarter while everyone else was asleep.

gamerforlifeforever : Which I fully agree with, if the officials could of done their jobs and actually called that penalty, then the Saints would of made it to the Super Bowl, and would of won, but nope, they wanted the freaking Rams, because all of the Refs are all from California.

Personally, how the NFL should do games in the playoffs, they should have officials from neutral territories (like somewhere not from those two cities, or rivals of those cities), if we had those officials from say like The Great Lakes states or the Northeast states officiate the NFC Championship game between the Saints and the Rams, then things would of been called down the middle, but nope, they had to have all Californian officials.

But hey, the NFL were the ones that shot themselves in the foot by letting the Rams and Patriots play in Super Bowl LIII and caused it to be the worst Super Bowl in history.

The NFL is still wondering why it's losing their fans constantly, well, if they look at what they do in the mirror, they will realize that they are the ones causing to lose their fans.

IgorBird122 : Being an official would be very difficult job in my opinion. But this was a playoff game and SOMEONE should have called it especially when you got NFL coming out of the closet and admitting fault. It's too late now... and they just gave us the worst superbowl probably ever.

We can blame the NFL and the refs but at the end of the day we should also blame the Rams and Patriots for putting on a snoozefest of a game. If Chiefs had beaten Patriots and Saints beat Rams this would probably have been a much better superbowl.

Well, Super Bowl LIII happened to get the worst TV viewership in recorded history, mostly because of people boycotting the Super Bowl, especially in New Orleans, Kansas City, and St. Louis.

I can tell you, this past Sunday Night (during the Super Bowl) I remember that both me and my brother went to a Buffalo Wild Wings here in New Orleans, and there was a sign posted on the front door saying "Due to the events during the NFC Championship game, we will NOT be airing Super Bowl LIII. We are sorry for the inconvenience. -The Management".

You can easily tell that no one here watched the Super Bowl.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
